White House press secretary Jen Psaki reportedly echoed a slur from President Joe Biden during a “Pod Save America” podcast on Thursday, taking a swing at Fox News and correspondent Peter Doocy, saying questions provided by the network might make him “sound like a stupid son of a b*tch.”

According to Politico White House correspondent Eugene Daniels, Psaki was asked during the podcast if “Peter Doocy is a stupid son of a b*tch or does he just play one on TV?”

“He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b*tch,” Psaki reportedly responded.

Her words mirrored Biden who was caught on a hot mic in late January using the insult against Doocy.

Daniels also relayed that Psaki noted how gracious Peter Doocy was toward Biden after the president called him the same slur.

“Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?” Doocy asked the president at the time.

“No, it’s a great asset,” Biden replied, evidently unaware his microphone was still on. “More inflation. What a stupid son of a b*tch.

Doocy would go on later in the day to elaborate on Biden’s smear while speaking with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“After years of clips of the president and I kind of mixing it up on the campaign trail and during the transition, and here at the White House, within about an hour of that exchange, he called my cell phone and he said, ‘It’s nothing personal, pal.’ And we went back and forth and we were talking bout just kind of moving forward and I made sure to tell him that I’m always going to try to ask something different than what everybody else is asking. And he said, ‘You’ve got to.’ And that’s a quote from the president. So I’ll keep doing it,” the Fox News reporter stated.

“Did he apologize?” Hannity asked Doocy.

“He cleared the air,” he commented. “And I appreciate it. We had a nice call.”

Hannity laughed and then noted, “That’s not an answer. Did he apologize?”

“He said, ‘It’s nothing personal, pal.’ And I told him I appreciated him reaching out. Hey, Sean, the world is on the brink of like World War III right now, with all the stuff going on. I appreciate that the president took a couple minutes out this evening while he was still at the desk to give me a call and clear the air,” Doocy remarked.

“At least he called you ‘pal,’” Hannity quipped.

“You know what, I don’t need anybody to apologize to me,” claimed Doocy. “He can call me whatever he wants as long as it gets him talking.”

Psaki was asked during a briefing the next day if the president regretted making the slur.

“Peter spoke to this. The president called him. He conveyed to him that it was ‘nothing personal, man’ and also acknowledged that all of you were going to ask him a range of questions. So I think that speaks for itself,” she deflected.
