White House press secretary Jen Psaki was grilled by Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich over why it was claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris was wearing a mask indoors while NBC correspondent Kelly O’Donnell creepily prompted her to craft the narrative that it was because it was an “emotional day.”
The question arose as Harris’ communications director, Jamal Simmons, tested positive for the virus on April 6, according to the White House. In a video, Harris is seen maskless with the president who is also not wearing one.
“You said on Friday that the vice president was masked indoors all day but the White House tweeted a video showing her standing over the president without a mask on,” Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich noted during Psaki’s press briefing. “Can you explain what happened there?”
“Well, I would say that the vice president and the president and all of us abide by what the CDC protocols are. It was an emotional day, it was an historic day, and there were moments when she was not wearing a mask inside, including in a photo, but wearing it 99.9% of the time. I would note the president and the vice president have tested negative in the last 24 hours and we felt and made the decision, it’s important to share with all of you when there are close contacts, that’s exactly what we did,” Psaki stated trying desperately to backtrack on her original claim that Harris was masked indoors the entire time, but, in fact, wasn’t despite her exposure to COVID.
“Why it’s of interest to the public, I think, is, and you guys can agree or disagree with me, is because the four principals, the public has a right to know and an interest in knowing when the four principals have exposure or close contact exposure to any individuals who have COVID. The vice president is now five days post-exposure. She tested negative,” she waffled, attempting to justify the stated inconsistency.
The subject did not end there, however. An apparent and creepy attempt to control and fashion the narrative over the incident occurred when NBC correspondent Kelly O’Donnell returned to the subject a few minutes later, asking, “A couple of times you’ve cited [it was an] emotional day, important day, an important role she was playing. You’re not saying that those things are reasons to not follow CDC guidance?”
“Absolutely not. And I appreciate your question on that,” Psaki responded as if it had been scripted.
“What I was conveying is that while she has worn a mask, as is protocol and as is our expectation of everyone from the vice president, the president, all of us on down, if you have a close contact, that there was a photo, as Jacqui said, and there are moments when, yeah, she was human,” she tried to elaborate. “She didn’t have a fat mask on in the photo. But she has worn the mask and that is certainly what we want to convey to the American people.”
Strangely, O’Donnell prompted Psaki to assert that Harris didn’t wear a mask since “the photo will live for decades.”
“I think it was a decision made in the moment,” Psaki dubiously claimed. “But it doesn’t mean we don’t all try to be model citizens and abide by what the CDC protocols are and requirements.”

When Raggedy Ann is brought on TV, I turn it off. I’m so sick and tired of being lied to. I no longer have time to waste. I try to take into consideration about what she’s trying to lie for, but that’s so anti-America to me. Crooks and inept leaders shouldn’t be lied for. IMO, she’s just a paid liar and our tax dollars are being used for her to lie to us.

Psaki’s level of intelligence equals that of Harris and Biden. In other words she is no better than the other two stooges!!
