During his latest “Save America” rally this Saturday in North Carolina, former President Donald Trump once again called for a future GOP-led Congress to “stand up for parental rights and parental choice,” and “end the ‘woke’ war on women and children.”
He made the remarks while speaking about the dangers that the left’s policies pose.
“Despite all you’re hearing and seeing of China and Russia and Iran and others, our biggest danger is not from outside coming in. Our biggest single danger is from the sick and radical politicians that are knowingly or unknowingly wanting to destroy our country. Our biggest danger is from within. I believe that,” he said.
“As president, I was proud to sign the world’s first ban on critical race theory. The Biden administration rescinded that order, but when we retake congress, Republicans will ban the critical race theory in our schools, ban it in our military, ban it in every part of federal, state, and local governments just like I did.”

Pivoting specifically to the issue of school policy, the former president then called for the GOP-led Congress that’s expected to emerge from the midterm elections to take a stand “for parental rights and parental choice.”
“A Republican Congress must stand up for parental rights and parental choice. I think that’s a good idea. No teacher should ever be allowed to teach far left gender theories to our children without parental consent. It’s truly child abuse, plain and simple,” he said.
“By replacing reading and math with pronouns and gender studies, our government-run education system has forfeited the trust of American parents. They really have.”
“Every mom and dad in America must be given the right to opt out of the indoctrination and send their child to the public, private charter or religious school of their choice. Have to do it,” the former president continued.
“Last week, the Biden administration sent Congress a budget crammed with billions and billions of dollars of transgenderism and so-called equity provisions that are nothing more than government sponsored racism.”

“The Republican Congress will end the woke war on women and children, we will stop illegal government discrimination, we will restore the sacred American principle of equality under the law,” Trump added to loud applause.
His remarks came exactly seven days after he’d said something similar during another rally in Grand Rabids, Michigan.
“America’s moms and dads must be given a veto over anyone teaching far-left gender theories to their children in school without parental consent. It’s unbelievable — this week, the Biden administration released guidance endorsing hormone therapy, puberty blockers and sex-changing surgeries for children and minor use,” he’d said.
“Can you imagine a child, and then they grow up and they say, ‘Why the hell did you do that to me, mom, or dad, or government?’ Biden’s Department of Justice has also announced they will punish medical doctors who refuse to perform irreversible and highly controversial transgender procedures.”
He hadn’t been exaggerating.

“I can’t even believe it. Who the hell would have ever believed we would even be talking about this stuff, right? Who would believe it. With their extremist sex and gender ideology, the Democrat Party is waging war on reality, war on science, war on children, war on women,” the former president had added at the Michigan rally.
No matter how much their polling numbers keep slipping, Democrats continue to double, triple and quadruple down on these sorts of policies.
Just this past week the administration began attacking Alabama for passing its own version of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill.
Meanwhile, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra suggested he supports taxpayer-funded sex-change operations for children.
“In this gender-affirming care, Mr. Secretary, have there been tax dollars put forward to fund mastectomies, metonymies and hysterectomies for sex reassignment purposes for minors with gender dysphoria?” Rep. Lauren Boebert asked him during a hearing Wednesday, as reported by Fox News.
“Well, Americans are entitled to receive healthcare services. They are entitled to receive any of the case you just mentioned,” Becerra replied.

I wish it was true the IF we take back the house (we have to beat Big Tech voting machines and mail in ballots, that the Republicans would ban CRT and do the will of the people, but I doubt they will.
