A Lamborghini owner looking for a parking spot in a Florida shopping center came face-to-face with a lifted pickup truck that plowed over his luxury sports car.
In a moment captured on video, the three-ton pickup truck could be seen atop the Lamborghini Huracan, driven by Ramón Ferrer, a Cuban-born entrepreneur, according to The Telegraph. A woman emerged from the Chevrolet Silverado after driving over the Lamborghini, which evidently was something she did not even see as she navigated the parking lot.

Ferrer, who posted pictures to his Instagram account, appeared to be trying to back up as he saw the pickup approaching him, but it wasn’t enough to avoid the crunch that followed.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, but the visual of a formidable-looking truck sitting on top of a luxury sports car that sells for over $250k was unforgettable.

“Lift a full-size HD truck high enough and the hood becomes a wall. Anything lower than about waist height in front of you might as well not exist, and a Huracán’s roofline barely clears the average mailbox. Combine that blind spot with what looks like more speed than a parking lot deserves, and the Silverado’s generous approach angle did the rest,” according to MotorBiscuit. “It climbed the Lambo because nothing about the geometry told it not to.”
“Damage estimates aren’t public yet, but a Huracán with a Silverado parked on its roof is almost certainly a total loss,” the outlet added. “The Lamborghini’s monocoque is an aluminum-and-carbon structure that doesn’t really tolerate several tons of pickup grinding across it, and the bodywork in the video is already visibly caved in around the tires. Whoever insures the Silverado is about to have a memorable week.”
Meanwhile, the Lamborghini driver seemed to be taking it in stride or was in total shock.
“Today I was born again,” Ferrer said in a post. “Thank you God for another day and another chance. Material things don’t matter to me – my health is the main thing. Nothing stops us, there is much more to grow.”
