Radical leftist and former MSNBC talking head Keith Olbermann once again came undone over a perceived wrong by The Washington Post on Thursday, with the frothing liberal lambasting the media outlet for daring to give “free space” to former President Donald Trump by interviewing him.

“The [Washington Post] has given free space to Crazy Trump this morning. The millionth Crazy Trump interview is not unusual, newsworthy, nor journalism. [Josh Dawsey] wrote it and most Post types are desperately RT’ing. Shame on them, and shame on you if you reward them by reading it,” Olbermann tweeted concerning the exclusive interview, displaying his ongoing hatred for the former president.

Washington Post reporter Josh Dawsey, who wrote the piece, was critical of Trump and his actions concerning the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Evidently, the coverage wasn’t negative enough for a perpetually angry Olbermann. Dawsey’s frequent criticism of Trump should have elicited a decidedly different response from Olbermann begging the question of whether he actually read the piece.

It is unclear through the haze of Olbermann’s outrage exactly what his problem with the piece is. It is historically routine for a former U.S. president to sit down with a variety of media outlets for exclusive interviews on a wide range of topics. His anger seems to be over the fact that The Washington Post talked to Trump at all.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany called Olbermann’s ravings “preposterous” which many contend is an understatement. She then pointed out that Olbermann’s rage tells Americans everything they need to know about the current state of journalism in the United States.

“The notion that the words of a former President, who still commands resounding support in the Republican Party, is not ‘newsworthy’ should tell you all you need to know about the state of journalism today. Olbermann’s preposterous assertion just adds more distrust to the liberal media’s already decaying level of trust among Americans,” she said in an interview with Fox News Digital.

Olbermann’s crassness and angry declaration on social media are nothing new for the explosive pundit. In Oct. 2020, he ranted at length on YouTube for Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett and Trump affiliates to be “prosecuted” and “removed” from society. He also branded the former president a “terrorist” and demanded he be “destroyed” and “devoured at the ballot box.”

Olbermann just won Outkick’s 2022 Woke All-Star Challenge for making statements like the one attacking The Washington Post.

“In the end, it really wasn’t a fair competition. The Craziest Bastard East of the Mississippi River, Keith Olbermann, was built to dominate OutKick’s Woke All-Star Challenge. With a staggering 80% of the votes, Crazy Keith is your 2022 Woke All-Star Challenge champion and figures to go the way of 2021 Woke Challenge champ Jemele Hill – instant retirement,” Outkick’s Joe Kinsey wrote.

Olbermann notably savaged The Masters last year as well, calling for a boycott of the golf tournament due to “Georgia voter oppression.” The Washington Post is just the latest target of his unbridled rage and his utterly bizarre rants.
