Outrageous! Feds provide phones for hundreds of single adult migrants in daily mass releases, Fox reports

Reports of daily mass releases of illegal immigrants self-monitored on the honor system have many wondering what President Joe Biden’s administration is actually doing to address the border crisis as the influx is only expected to increase once Title 42 is officially ended.

Fox News journalist Bill Melugin had reported in January that the federal government had been releasing large numbers of single adult migrants in Brownsville, TX. Those migrants were later reportedly transported to the airport to board flights to destinations across the United States.

Melugin has continued following this story and recently released more details on what is happening with these daily occurrences.

The Fox reporter’s sources tell him, “several hundred” single adult migrants “are released here every day” from federal custody.

“I’m told many of them are given these phones by the government to track them and allow them to communicate w/ICE” (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement0), “but there’s no way to stop them from being tossed,” he noted.

Evidently, these migrants are released on parole with the expectation that, after arriving in whatever city where they are headed, they will present themselves to ICE as adjudication may be necessary later on. However, it is difficult to imagine these policies are being enforced as the administration has continually denied this is even taking place.

As previously reported, White House press secretary Jen Psaki deflected against initial coverage of these mass releases, saying it was only “unaccompanied minors being transported” and it was “not new or news” as, she claimed, the administration had previously addressed this.

As Melugin pointed out, hundreds are being released in Brownsville alone. Friday, the administration announced it would be ending Title 42 as it was designed to be a healthcare measure, not a border control effort. Enacted by former President Donald Trump, Title 42 permitted expedited deportation without allowance for asylum claims on a case-by-case basis to stem the tide of illegals and, hopefully, the spread of COVID at the time.

“The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, (DHS), estimates getting rid of Title 42 will result in as many as 18,000 migrants per day – which could mean 540.000 migrants in a single month,” a group of attorneys general argued after presenting a lawsuit against the administration for ending the measure.

Others pointed out that the administration is being aided by these NGOs, (non-governmental organizations,) which should not remain nameless. The questions many want to have answered include, who are they and who is funding them while they provide comfort and resources to those illegally entering the country?

Whoever these groups may be, another sincere question that needs answering is, why here? But then again, that may be self-evident.
