Here are the Squad members that reportedly tweeted, then deleted, praise for Will Smith after slap

Two members of “the Squad,” a group of left-leaning Congressional Democrats, reportedly deleted tweets praising actor Will Smith after he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage Sunday at the Academy Awards.

The altercation between the two celebrities occurred after Rock made a joke about the shaved head of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia.

“#Alopecia nation stand up! Thank you #WillSmith,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, who announced she has alopecia in 2020, tweeted Sunday, according to Politico. “Shout out to all the husbands who defend their wives living with alopecia in the face of daily ignorance & insults.”

“Women with baldies are for real men only…boys need not apply,” she wrote.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman reportedly tweeted that the incident was a “teachable moment” not to joke about the hair of black women, according to NBC News. Both of “the Squad” members’ tweets were subsequently deleted, with neither lawmaker providing a reason.

The American broadcast of the event cut the audio, but several foreign broadcasts stayed live, with Rock telling the audience that “Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me.”

“Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth,” Smith responded.

Smith went on to win the award for Best Actor for playing Venus and Serena Williams’ father, Richard, in the movie “King Richard.” He apologized to the Academy for the incident during his acceptance speech, but not to Rock.

Bowman and Pressley did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

  3. Would Smith have rushed the stage if it had been the OTHER “ROCK”?? I doubt it!! Now that would be a good snl skit – Will get’s all worked up – rushes the stage – and then sees THE ROCK – not CHRIS Rock – “OH, how you been? OH, nothing, just had a cramp and needed to stretch my legs – you keep on and don’t forget to ask her if I shined that head before we came here tonight”!!

  5. This is sick! Chris Rock admitted he had no idea of the condition Will Smith wife had. Will was wrong to do what he did and ultimately admitted it. The squad is in everyone’s business and consistently have to delete tweets……tells you something – no class speaking before they have all info. But that is typical of the democrat crazies. Calling for Will Smiths arrest is not going to do anything and Chris Rock does not want this. Will smith has dug his own grave in Hollywood – he may have just ruined himself with this idiotic stunt and kudos to Chis Rock for being the more upstanding person

  8. All members of the “Jihad Squad” should, at the least, be prosecuted for violating their oaths of office, and, at least 2, Omar and Tlaib, for treason. They are trying to destroy America from within, which should be rewarded with jail time, deportation, or, worse.
