Winsome Sears solicits, suggests names for new caucus: ‘The You’re Not Black Enough Caucus’

Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears torched the Virginia Black Caucus for its biased treatment of a black Republican delegate who was barred from joining.

The Republican lieutenant governor and first black woman to hold statewide office in Virginia ripped into Democrats for the shameful treatment of state Delegate Aijalon Cordoza who said it was “a spit in the face” when he was denied the chance to join the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus.

“It really did offend me,” Cordoza told Fox News this week. “It was a spit in the face. This says to me that I’m not black enough to be in the Black Caucus, and that’s an insult.”

Sears charged in with a blistering takedown of the Caucus, mocking the intolerant and biased Democrats in tweets on Friday.

“We’re trying to start a new caucus. Name suggestions?” Sears asked, before going on to suggest several, including “The No More Division Caucus” and “The You’re Not Black Enough Caucus.”

She wasn’t done, though, and added more suggestions, such as “The We Shall Overcome Caucus” and the amazing “Becky With The Good Hair Caucus.”

Though as of this writing, Cordoza – and the Virginia Black Caucus – had not responded on Twitter, plenty of others cheered on the no-nonsense Sears.
