“The Five” co-host Jesse Watters pointed out on Thursday that Vice President Kamala Harris has a habit of airing her feelings all over the place in public, after discussing a Politico article that reported she “was struggling to escape the D.C. bubble.”
The piece noted that Harris has reportedly “confessed to a stifling sensation that had fallen over her” while she repeatedly fails to somehow figure out how to escape D.C. to do her job.
“She wholeheartedly wants to get out,” claimed Ebonie Riley, who is a senior vice president at National Action Network. “She said she was ‘Zoom’d out,’ she would love to be in-person engaging.” That statement was made via Politico which diligently provided cover for Harris, asserting that she will not play the “insider” game in D.C.
After a discussion with Geraldo Rivera on Harris’ lack of leadership, co-host Jeanine Pirro asked Watters, “So, what would you recommend that Kamala Harris do, Jesse?”
“Join the Supreme Court,” he quipped.
“No, then we’d have her for another 30 years,” she proclaimed. “Are you crazy?”
“That’s an even trade with Breyer, so what’s that gonna do?” he responded tongue-in-cheek.
“She’s acting like a tourist,” Watters posited. “You know when tourists get to a new place, they’re like, ‘There’s a lot of traffic here. I miss my mom. Like, my ATM doesn’t work.’ Oh man, the traffic signs are confusing. This is America! What do you mean this is a D.C. bubble? She has her jet, she has a chef, she can move mountains if she wants to affect policy. I like that bubble. It’s a cozy bubble. I wouldn’t try to get out of that bubble.”
“And I’m sorry to say this, but many people are saying this. I’m not saying this, but many people are saying that this sounds like a typical female problem. She’s talking–” he continued humorously trying to frame Harris’ introspective non-leadership approach to the vice presidency.
“Jesse,” Rivera admonished.
“I’m not saying that!” he declared and then repeated what he has heard from people on the street. “I’m saying this is what people are telling me. They say the first female vice president comes in there and every single – every single article is about her feelings. She feels this way. She feels sad. She feels–”
“Stop it, Jesse!” Pirro interjected, attempting to silence Watters’ take on the matter.
“She chose this job! She ran for president, she said yes to VP and every article is she’s sad,” Watters exclaimed while co-host Dana Perino tried to stop him from making the point and Pirro repeatedly used the cut sign across her throat.
If Kamala Harris taught us anything as VP it’s that you should never give someone a position simply based on skin color and gender

“Stop it!” stated Perino while Watters took her hand that was being used to deter him.
“Stop,” Pirro reiterated trying to halt the discussion. “Jesse, stop.”
“Okay, Dana, would you like to cut him off?” Pirro said before finally forcing Watters into silence.
Harris is expected to increase her travel and to help Democrats campaign for the 2022 midterm elections, that is if she can find her way out of the D.C. bubble.
