A new purportedly bipartisan survey from Fox News confirms President Joe Biden’s dismal standing with the American electorate that been reflected in many recent polls.
In practical terms, if Biden was an ordinary worker who had relocated for a new job, he would be strongly advised to rent and not buy.
If the 2024 election were held today, 60 percent would vote for someone else, according to Fox’s polling data compiled by a Democrat and a Republican firm and derived from cellphone and landline interviews with about 1,000 randomly selected registered voters.
Fifty-two percent disapproved of Biden’s overall job performance. Disapproval for VP Kamala Harris is slightly worse at 54 percent.
That only 36 percent back Biden for reelection “makes his current reelection prospects dimmer than they ever were for his most recent predecessors, Donald Trump and Barack Obama,” Fox News explained.
“At the end of Biden’s first year in office, economic anxiety is higher than a year ago, and many feel the pandemic is not at all under control. His job rating in both these areas is down in recent months, and over half of voters disapprove of Biden’s performance overall… The highest ‘someone else’ number for Obama was 54% (September 2010) and 56% for Trump (January 2018).”

A majority of voters disapprove of Biden’s handling, or mishandling, of COVID 19, foreign policy (which presumably includes the current saber-rattling over Russia’s potential “minor incursion” into Ukraine), the economy (with inflation going through the roof), and especially border security, or lack thereof.
“Seventy-three percent of voters say economic conditions are only fair or poor, up from 66% last December,” Fox News reported. “Even more, 85%, are worried about inflation, and that sentiment is bipartisan: 81% of Democrats and 91% of Republicans are concerned.”
Among various other findings, when asked about which party is better to deal with crime (which 81 percent of the respondents expressed concern), 56 percent gave the nod to the GOP, which is perhaps understandable given the rampant lawlessness in areas under the political control of Democrats.
Democrats did better than the GOP on social issues.
Also, 63 percent indicated that the U.S. Supreme Court should let the landmark Roe v. Wade abortion case stand as is.
In the survey, moreover, 19 percent indicated that America’s voting process needs a complete overall, while 29 percent favor major changes. Almost three-fourths oppose allowing noncitizens to vote in municipal elections.

Against this backdrop, however, “Seventy-two percent of Democrats would reelect Biden.”
NBC News has published some data that can’t be reassuring to the White House, particularly as it relates to the gaffe-prone president’s acumen:
New NBC News poll shows only 33% rate Joe Biden's mental/physical fitness to be "good" or "very good." 9% say "poor" & 41% say "very poor." The other numbers also stink.

According to the New York Times, another liberal corporate media outlet, a recent focus group provided more bad news for the Biden administration (or regime, as others have described it).
Along with a Times editor, RINO Frank Luntz, U.S. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s former landlord, sat down with 14 independent voters who voted at least once for Obama and Trump.
A show of hands — are you confident that President Biden and the Democrats have a plan to improve the economy, to deal with inflation?
[Nobody raises a hand.]…
How many of you would like to see Biden run again in 2024? Show of hands.
[Nobody raises a hand.]
The group was not particularly enthusiastic about a second Trump candidacy either, with only three raising their hands in support.
According to the Gallup Poll, Biden has dropped to a 33 percent approval among independent voters.
