Reports that MSNBC’s Joy Reid will be losing her show as the network works on “reshuffling” its lineup have sparked an array of reactions.

A tweet shared Thursday claimed that “The ReidOut” will reportedly be shuttered in the spring, according to former Mediaite managing editor Jon Nicosia who cited a source at Comcast; NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast.

“Source @ Comcast: ‘Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.’ – ‘She does not have a show come mid Spring’ – The ‘decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings,'” Nicosia tweeted Thursday.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld reacted to the news in his own mocking way.

“sh-t…there goes a third of my material. first chris cuomo, now joy reid….if i lose don lemon, i may have to report on actual stories!!” he tweeted.

But CNN’s Brian Stelter came to the rescue after The Daily Beast’s Justin Baragona warned against “running wild” with a story over a single source tweet.

Reid has continued to come under fire for her race-baiting, left-wing rhetoric in her latest show, “TheReidOut” which debuted in July 2020, taking over the timeslot previously occupied by “Hardball with Chris Matthews.”

Reid joined MSNBC in 2011 as a contributor and, while the current show boasted an impressive debut its ratings have tanked as she continues her hate-spewing, recently accusing Republicans of having a “hatred” for President Joe Biden because he was VP to “the Black president,” Barack Obama.

The left-wing pundit was allegedly being seen as “unmanageable” by many, according to Nicosia.

“As was the case with Chris Cuomo at CNN, Reid has allies at Comcast, however, she is now viewed as ‘unmanageable’ by many. Also, similar to Cuomo, it appears those allies have found out she has been ‘less than truthful about past incidents,'” he wrote on Twitter.

While Reid certainly had her liberal defenders on Twitter, many of whom thought the report was not true, many others were just happy to say good riddance.
