Happy New Year from the Trumps! Here’s who was spotted at their Mar-a Lago New Year’s Eve gala

Former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania dazzled on New Year’s Eve as the couple returned the celebrations to their Florida resort.

Though the last year’s festivities were nixed following the 2020 election, the Trumps were back in hosting a black-tie fête at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. Images from the gathering were shared by attendees as the crowd gathered before midnight, Daily Mail reported.

The former first lady was spotted looking stunning, as per usual, in a shimmery dress and the 45th president was decked out in a tuxedo.

Trump’s son Eric, along with wife Lara and their children, were seen at the gala.

Former New York City mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz from Florida and his fiance Ginger Luckey were also photographed at the event.

The Trump family was at Mar-a-Lago for Christmas as well, according to Daily Mail:

The Trumps had Christmas Eve dinner at Mar-a-Lago, where they ate with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. The two couples sat alone at a table in the private club’s main ballroom.

Photos and video posted to social media show the Trumps got a standing ovation as they walked through the ballroom to the table where Jared and Ivanka waited for them.

Unlike when he was president, the table was not roped off from the rest of the guests.

Former President Trump waved to the crowd as he made his way to his spot. Both Melania and Ivanka wore white dresses for the festive occasion. Melania wore the same $7,450 Elie Saab dress she wore to a July 2018 NATO meeting in Belgium.

 

Images from the New Year’s festivities were shared on social media, including one of Eric and Lara Trump telling their kids goodnight.
