The media and leftists are hyping the reportedly mild Omicron variant for all it’s worth, claiming that it is surging across the nation infecting millions, with the unvaccinated being the most vulnerable and urging everyone to get the jab or risk death.

The New York Times is declaring that Omicron is swarming the country, but the unvaccinated are being “defiant” in the face of it.

They are not reporting that the symptoms of the variant tend to mimic those of the common cold, but they are blaring that hospitals are overwhelmed and that “staff recently took out a full-page newspaper advertisement pleading with unvaccinated Americans to finally get the shot. It read, simply, ‘Help.’”

The Old Gray Lady is ringing alarm bells over those obstinate Americans who just simply won’t submit to the jab, “In the year since the first shots began going into arms, opposition to vaccines has hardened from skepticism and wariness into something approaching an article of faith for the approximately 39 million American adults who have yet to get a single dose.”

“Now health experts say the roughly 15% of the adult population that remains stubbornly unvaccinated is at the greatest risk of severe illness and death from the omicron variant and could overwhelm hospitals that are already brimming with COVID patients. In Cleveland, where Omicron cases are soaring, a hospital unit at the Cleveland Clinic that provides life support to the sickest patients is already completely full,” the media outlet bleakly warned.

They went on to decry that fewer first-time vaccinations are occurring, not enough children are getting the jab, and people are just flat out refusing to get a booster. Reportedly, only 20 percent of children 5-11 years old have gotten one dose of the vaccine. Only 1 in 3 fully vaccinated Americans have gotten a booster.

The outlet does admit that early studies are suggesting that the Omicron variant causes less severe illness than other variants have.

Even so, the New York Times is in a tizzy over the unvaccinated. Nearly 90 percent of unvaccinated adults have stated that Omicron will not change their minds on getting the vaccine according to a recent survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

“It’s just another variant,” remarked Dianne Putnam, who is an unvaccinated resident of Dalton, Georgia, and president of her county’s Republican Party. She spent six days in the hospital this summer after contracting COVID.

“Next year there’ll be another one. I mean, there’s going to always be different variants,” she said.

Those who are most resistant to getting inoculated evidently tend to be younger, whiter, and more Republican according to The New York Times. The leftist media bullhorn also proudly pushes mandates.

They are contending that the most heavily concentrated regions for the unvaccinated are Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Arkansas, and Alabama. Those states have reported around half of their population as fully vaccinated, well below the national average of approximately 62 percent.

Many Americans have grown tired of the overbearing public health propaganda telling everyone they must get the jab or die. The politics of all of it has turned many off and the left is only making it worse.

“The nail in the coffin was when they said you had to get the vaccine. It definitely turned me away,” remarked Cyrarra Bricker, 26, who is a sales representative in Fort Worth, Texas.

The political divide on the issue is stark. More than 91 percent of Democrats have received at least one shot according to the New York Times. That is in contrast to roughly 60 percent of Republicans.

The media outlet went on at length about how Republicans are standing in the way of Biden’s agenda and is basically blaming the pandemic on them.

“Now you need a first shot and second shot, and now they’re talking about all these boosters,” Eric Dilts, 45, a DoorDash delivery worker in St. Joseph, Missouri told the New York Times. “How many shots do you need? It seems like a joke to me.”

Natural immunity, which is about as scientific as it gets, is mocked by the left. For those who have already had the virus, it seems logical that their immune systems are doing what they are supposed to do.

Instead, the unvaccinated are being vilified and persecuted by those such as the New York Times for not bending the knee and rolling up their sleeve.
