Socialite and reality star Khloe Kardashian was blasted for a tweet she sent out that may have been expressing her apparent disgust over the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse while she stayed silent concerning Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival tragedy.
“Speechless and disgusted!!” she tweeted on Saturday.
Kardashian has been knocked before for not commenting on the deadly Astroworld incident, but the tweet on Rittenhouse really set people off. Previously she was slammed for her timing when she posted a series of sultry pictures on social media following the Astrolworld tragedy.
Kardashian did not say what she was specifically tweeting about but the timing definitely made it appear it was in reference to the Rittenhouse verdict. She joined a long line of celebrities who spoke out against the outcome following the not guilty verdict of Rittenhouse last week after he killed two and wounded a third in self-defense during the Kenosha riots in 2020.
Although she did not attend Astroworld and is only connected to Scott through her sister, Kylie Jenner, people seized on it and called her out for not expressing similar sentiments for the Astroworld victims.

Following the tragedy, Kylie Jenner and her sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kendall Jenner all issued statements conveying their sadness over the loss of life. Khloe Kardashian, however, remained silent.
Her tweet drew swift backlash online.
“What are u referring to? The innocent lives that were lost at Travis’s concert, or….????” one person strikingly asked.

“Astroworld? Self created drama? A trial you didn’t watch? So many options,” a third disparagingly noted.

The Astroworld Festival was supposed to be a two-day live music show which featured a number of top performers, but it ended after a number of concertgoers were crushed to death and hundreds of others were injured.
The deadly incident was the result of a crowd surge that ended in helpless fans being knocked down, suffocated, and trampled during a stampede by thousands.
Kylie Jenner, who is the soon-to-be mother-of-two and the girlfriend of Travis Scott, spoke out about the event on social media, “Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community.”
She defended herself and Scott, “I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing.”
“I am sending my deepest condolences to all the families during this difficult time and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted,” she stated.

More piled on in response to Khloe Kardashian’s tweet:
😂😂😂 did you even watch the prosecution?
— Kaitlyn Kiefer (@katiekiefer123) November 20, 2021
Thank you! There are so many “opinions” being stated, or shouted, as fact by people who never watched the trial or reviewed the evidence.
— Mitzi (@GritandG) November 21, 2021
Here you go Khloe, clearly you didn’t have time to watch the trial, I think this one piece of verbatim might help you understand pic.twitter.com/RUG3V0hpj7

You don’t believe in self defense?
— Reed1886 (@sutton_tracy) November 20, 2021
How is he guilty?please explain.?why because he had a gun?that gun saved his life I promise anyone else would be in that situation they would have done the same to sav their life#KyleRittenhouseIsInnocent

He was found not guilty because it was self defense. Also, because the prosecution couldn’t do an adequate job and tried to falsify evidence. Kyle should have never been tried. There were many things that could have caused a mistrial. You guys need to study law.

You’ll comment on this but not the Travis Scott concert? Mmmmmmk. Stay in your lane lady.
— emily (@emilyfreedomm) November 20, 2021
At what??? At the fact that 10 innocent people died at Astroworld and the only thing Scott said was -“ put your middle finger up in the sky!” You should be disgusted at that!!!
