A radical Critical Race Theory activist went on a violent rant at a Fort Worth School Board meeting claiming that he had 1,000 soldiers “locked and loaded,” threatening everyone in attendance before officers escorted him out of the room.
“For those who got an issue with this Critical Race Theory equity, this is something I fight for, for my children,” Malikk Austin stated during the November 9 Fort Worth Independent School District board meeting. “How dare you come out here and talk about the things that my daddy and my grandparents went through, the lynching, the oppression, Jim Crow, and my kids are still being afflicted by this.”
“How dare you come out here and challenge me on Critical Race Theory!” he railed following a number of concerned parents speaking out against Critical Race Theory. He raged about racism and fear.
“We are not our ancestors,” Austin declared and then threatened, “I got over a thousand soldiers ready to go… locked and loaded.”
Here is another angle of the outburst at the meeting, including Austin’s exit:

Parents were angered by Austin’s overt threat and started shouting at him to address the school board and not the audience. He replied by saying, “My First Amendment rights!”
Hollie Plemmons, who is a mother of three, was on the receiving end of Austin’s rage. She repeatedly said she would speak with Austin on the subject and he snapped back at her, “But you’re not intelligent, you are not intelligent.”
After his allotted time of one minute had expired, Austin was escorted from the meeting by police officers. As he was leaving he yelled, “I’ll bring my soldiers with me next time… locked and loaded.”
Plemmons asked him, “Did you just threaten me?”
“Locked and loaded,” Austin menacingly reiterated.
Parents at the meeting felt very threatened by Austin’s promise of violence.
“Absolutely, it made me feel threatened,” Plemmons told Fox News on Sunday. “I’m scared and I’m afraid he’s going to do something.”
She believes that Austin’s threats were “directed right at the three of us,” referring to herself and other parents who had spoken on Critical Race Theory at the meeting.
“I felt it was completely inappropriate that the board did not stop that,” she remarked. Typically, the board president would not have allowed such an outburst according to Plemmons. She thinks it was allowed because the board ostensibly supports Critical Race Theory.
“Everyone there felt threatened,” Carol Guarneri, who is a grandmother of four remarked to Fox News. She also asserted that Austin had attended a school board meeting in August in “tactical gear.”
“This gentleman was profoundly angry, he was not putting on a performance,” she claimed. “When he made the statement that he had his thousand soldiers and they’d be back locked and loaded, it was very frightening to me.”
“I was thinking about calling my husband and having him come to the parking lot because I was afraid to come to my car,” Guarneri said.
Austin claims he is not threatening anyone and proclaimed, “First Amendment rights, freedom of speech, need to be implemented.” When explaining his “locked and loaded” reference, he said, “That’s a term I used when I coached football. It means, ‘Prepare and get ready.’”
He also claimed that the parents at the meeting said “things that are inflammatory and inhumane to us of African-American descent.”
“So I don’t need to be worried about him coming to my home and shooting me up?” Plemmons sarcastically asked. “‘Locked’ means when you are putting your cartridge or your clip in and ‘loaded’ means you have a bullet in the chamber.”
She alleged she has had protesters come to her home previously, threatening her and her family over Critical Race Theory.
Others felt threatened just watching the video of the meeting.
“I did feel threatened when watching the 11/9/21 video,” Missie Carra, who is a parent and Texas director of Parents’ Rights in Education, told Fox News. “Let’s be honest, in my opinion, when anyone turns toward an audience of mothers and yells ‘I have 1,000 people’ and ‘we’re locked and loaded’ it is difficult to misconstrue the intent of those words as anything else but a threat.”
Carra confirmed what Guarneri had noted earlier, that at the August meeting Austin showed up in “tactical gear” and had two other “revolutionaries” with him.
Carlos Turcios, who is an activist with the local Republican Party and who helped organize the parent protest at the school board meeting, referred to Austin as a “leftwing militia activist.” He claimed that he “threatened all of us since we were criticizing the practice of CRT.”
“The parents did tell me they felt threatened by him,” Turcios told Fox News in an interview. “I felt threatened as well since he is part of an armed group.”
Social media exploded over the implied threat:
He’s not the only who can arrive locked and loaded. Just sayin

And yet they let the guy keep speaking. Clearly the crowd was not with him but the board was.

Sounds like a threat of violence. Where’s Garland and the FBI???? Ohhhh wait he’s on the their side, so lock and load it is!

Must take threats like that seriously & take lawful action. How many times do we say “Did they know about this & didn’t do anything!?” after something happens?
— EmZed (@ZMichaelZ) November 12, 2021
Precisely. This should not be tolerated at all. Period. Where the hell is the DOJ?
