No one in Congress can betray their own party and their own constituents quite the way a RINO can.

Last Friday, 13 so-called Republicans handed the radical Left and their frontman, President Joe Biden, a victory of potentially disastrous effect by voting for the Democrats’ massive “infrastructure” bill. To be fair, the Senate made it possible, thanks to 19 establishment hangers-on like Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Mitt Romney (R-UT).

On Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Monday, host Laura Ingraham blasted those Reps. who assisted the Left in passing the 2,702-page monstrosity.

“It was 12 men and one woman … who pushed the bill over the top,” Ingraham said. The 13 “infrastructure Republicans” include Reps. Don Bacon, Nicole Malliotakis, Don Young, Adam Kinzinger, Fred Upton, Jeff Van Drew, Chris Smith, Andrew Garbarino, John Katko, Tom Reed, Anthony Gonzalez, Brian Fitzpatrick, and David McKinley, according to Axios.

“At least three of the 13 washout congressmen have already announced their retirement,” Ingraham said. “Good – because each and every one of them either didn’t read the entire bill – which is a dereliction of duty – or they did read it and just ignored its most egregious provisions, which, frankly, is worse than a dereliction of duty.”

Although the bill is “laden with progressive pork,” it doesn’t seem to matter to champions of the bill, who reap significant rewards for their respective states, though it is arguably a fantasy for them to think they might have a say in how the money is actually spent.

Instead, Ingraham argued that the 13 Republican turncoats are trusting Biden’s cabinet secretaries to spend the money wisely when what they should have done is block the bill and wait to pass a clean infrastructure bill if and when they take back the House in 2022.

Of course, that is a lofty suggestion, considering that the next clean bill that either party passes would be the first of its kind.

“And every GOP vote for this bill, which is the companion bill to the next, even worse, social spending bill, ensures that current inflation lasts longer and energy prices go higher. Currently, the White House has zero plans to keep the latter from soaring out of control,” she said.

“Again, as long as they [Reps. and Sens.] get their piece, they’ll just ignore the fact that it provides the momentum for the Build Back Better bill, which will cost an estimated four trillion dollars. No wonder the far left is ecstatic in anticipation,” she added.

“Of course, selling you out in the House wouldn’t have been possible if 19 Republican senators didn’t sell out in the Senate first. One report notes that Mitch’s state of Kentucky can expect to receive more than $5 billion from the federal package,” Ingraham noted.

Among the innumerable items that fulfilled the Democrats’ wish list are $7.5 billion for electric vehicle charging stations; $5 billion for electric school buses; and $1 billion to rip up the supposedly racist highways which the country has tolerated for far too long.

Ingraham concluded by saying, “The complete inability of GOP leadership to hold the line, do what they were elected to do, and block over 1 trillion dollars in wasteful spending that will lead to more inflation, is a classic example of why populism continues to grow. The Establishment won this round, but their time is running out: Americans will not sacrifice their living standards to keep the Democrats and their GOP allies in power.”
