‘Really gross!’ Fox & Friends hosts let ‘disgusting’ SNL have it for mocking Winsome Sears

The “Fox & Friends” crew did not see the humor at all in Saturday Night Live’s joke about Virginia’s Lt. Gov.-elect.

On the most recent weekend update, alleged comedian Michael Che showed the now-famous image of the politician and U.S. Marine holding a gun and then offered this zinger:

“Republican Winsome Sears seen here attempting ‘suicide by cop’ was elected as Virginia’s first black female lieutenant governor. But this is actually a win for Democrats because nothing will get Republicans to support gun control faster than this picture,” Che said during the three-minute segment that may have been three minutes too long.

Fox & Friends co-host Will Cain described the reaction from the left to Sears’ election as “really gross,” while colleague Pete Hegseth added that “she’s their worst nightmare. They can’t tolerate it, so they have to smear.”

Rachel Campos-Duffy then noted that the same episode presented abortion-related skits: “They’re so bad, and they’re so not funny…disgusting.”

“We were watching during the break, and it was like ugh,” Hegseth agreed.

Liberals seem to be working overtime to discredit Virginia’s new conservative team which turned the Old Dominion state from blue to red, and which also includes incoming Attorney General Jason Miyares, even before they take office in January 2022.

Hegseth also recalled how Georgetown Univ. Professor Michael Eric Dyson went on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show to imply that Sears is a “black mouth” for white supremacy.

Providing a forum for distasteful, divisive commentary like this is perhaps why Tucker Carlson has irreverently nicknamed Reid the “race lady,” while journalist Jason Whitlock has dubbed her Racial Maddow.

Except for a recent exception where they actually mocked Joe Biden, the overly-politicized SNL hardly ever ridicules Democrats.

In the show’s cold open this past Saturday, the performers predictably mocked Virginia’s Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin and, of course, ex-President Donald Trump.

Comedy is obviously subjective for an audience, but the long-running and once-funny NYC-based NBC entertainment program that has seen its rating trending downward has generally just become another component of the liberal corporate media and all that it entails.

Reid’s MSNBC colleague Mehdi Hasan sadly also jumped on the anti-Sears, race-baiting bandwagon by taking to Twitter to claim, without evidence, that “the argument that white supremacy & racial resentment couldn’t have helped power Youngkin to victory in VA because the Republicans elected a black lieutenant governor – Winsome Sears – is as convincing as saying Trump isn’t a racist because he made Ben Carson his HUD secretary.”

Hasan subsequently got roasted on social media for this unfounded accusation.

The GOP, which also took control of the state’s House of Delegates in last Tuesday’s election, however, received support from Virginians from all walks of life and backgrounds.

This included many parents, Democrats among them, who were very concerned about the state’s education bureaucracy such as pervasive far-left indoctrination in the public schools in the form of critical race theory and its byproducts.
