Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe revealed to “Unfiltered” host Dan Bongino Saturday that she is unvaccinated, explaining that it is a stance she is taking against President Biden’s vaccine mandate tyranny and that it is a “fight for freedom.”
“I, as a 36-year-old woman with no underlying conditions, have a 99.97 percent chance of survival against COVID. So I was on the fence because it didn’t make sense to get vaccinated for a virus that is not a threat to my life, nor one that I fear. But now, I’m doubling down as a giant middle finger to Joe Biden’s tyranny, because now it’s a fight for freedom. Now it’s a fight against tyranny in America and that’s what this is all about. We are literally fighting right now for the future of this country,” Boothe proclaimed.
Boothe was crystal clear in her disdain for Biden’s desire to “control” and “force his opponents to submit to him.”
Bongino, who has taken a strong stance against vaccine mandates, concurred with Boothe’s assessment and encouraged her to give Biden “the double-barrel middle finger” because it is far more effective.
On the other side of the argument, Fox News host Neil Cavuto, who recently contracted a breakthrough coronavirus case, made his first on-air comments concerning the jab, highlighting the polarization on the issue at the network. He spoke about being fully vaccinated and still contracting the virus with “MediaBuzz” host Howard Kurtz on Sunday.
Cavuto is immunocompromised. He has multiple sclerosis, is a cancer survivor, and had heart surgery five years ago. He contends that the vaccine saved his life and kept his bout from being much more serious.

He has been off-air since last week after testing positive for COVID. His wife also tested positive for the virus. He issued a statement to Mediaite when he was first diagnosed, asserting that “had I not been vaccinated, and with all my medical issues, this would be a far more dire situation.”
“The situation for me being immunocompromised, half the cases we’re hearing on the breakthrough front are among the immunocompromised, people like me who had and have multiple sclerosis or prior heart situations or cancer. There are many like that all around us, and mine is no secret at Fox. But there are plenty of people around you, Howie, at Fox and all types of business environments who are susceptible to this kind of thing,” Cavuto remarked.
“You can help them out a lot… If you can get vaccinated and think of someone else and what it could mean for them and their survivability for something like this, we’ll all be better off,” he added.
Cavuto says he understands those who oppose vaccine mandates but contends that “the numbers prove” the health benefits of vaccines. He wants individuals to put politics aside when considering vaccination.
“I can’t stress this enough. It’s not about left or right, not who’s conservative or liberal. Last time I checked, everyone regardless of political persuasion is coming down with this,” he declared. “Take the political speaking points and toss them! For now, I’m begging you, toss them! And think of what’s good not only for yourself but those around you.”
“If you think it’s a pain in the ass, I get that. But think of people around you. I daresay, people who have experienced this or have seen loved ones affected by this or died from this are not judging the wisdom of mandates. They’re wishing they got vaccinated, and they didn’t. Don’t let that happen,” he begged.
“Life is too short to be an ass. Life is way too short to be ignorant of the promise of something that is helping people worldwide,” Cavuto commented. “Stop the deaths. Stop the suffering. Please, get vaccinated. Please.“
Boothe, on the other hand, found widespread agreement with her sentiments on social media:
It is a wise decision not to get any of these questionable medications

Editor’s note: A correction has been made in Ms. Boothe’s quote to say “I, as a 36-year-old woman with no underlying conditions, have a 99.97 percent chance of survival against COVID.” The original statement was misquoted to say 97.99. We apologize for the oversight.
