Gruden out as Raiders coach over years-old emails slamming Goodell, Biden as ‘nervous clueless p***y‘

Jon Gruden has become the latest victim of the cancel culture mob, resigning on Monday night after the New York Times just published old emails containing vulgar remarks about several high profile figures including President Joe Biden.

The embattled former head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders was already on the ropes after The Wall Street Journal reported on a 2011 email that was swept up during the probe into the NFL’s Washington franchise’s workplace environment that was sent to the team’s president Bruce Allen, a longtime friend when Gruden was an analyst on Monday Night Football.

In the first email, Gruden made a racially insensitive remark about NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith which he apologized for while vehemently denying that he was a racist, but it was only an appetizer for what would follow when the Times reported on more emails that included the use of a homosexual slur to describe NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as well as negative commentary about Biden.

In an email written back when Biden was Barack Obama’s vice president, Gruden referred to the current “leader” of the free world as a “nervous clueless p**sy,” a comment that likely infuriated Biden’s cheerleaders at the NYT.

He was even less fond of the controversial Goodell who many feel has destroyed the NFL during his tenure that has included the abandonment of the patriotic principles that the league had long espoused in favor of divisive leftist “woke” virtue signaling and promoting the agenda of the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter movement which it went all-in on following the death of George Floyd last summer.

Gruden ripped Goodell as a “f*ggot” and a “clueless anti football p**sy” according to the Times. He also criticized Goodell’s pressuring of St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher to draft “queers,” a reference to defensive end Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by the NFL.

In one of the emails reported by the Times, Gruden and Allen “mocked Caitlyn Jenner” after the former Olympic hero’s transition in one of the messages sent from his personal email account.

The NFL has gone to great lengths to pander to the LGBTQ demographic, tweeting out a video proclaiming that “Football Is Gay” in June during Pride Month.

The rapidly intensifying firestorm and prospect that additional emails would continue to be released were too much for Gruden who resigned, issuing a brief statement announcing the news.

“I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders,” Gruden wrote, “I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

It marks the end of his tenure with the team which he had coached twice, leaving after disagreements with legendary owner Al Davis in 2002 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers whom he lead to their first Super Bowl title, ironically against the Raiders.

He returned to the Raiders in 2018 but had yet to lead the team to a winning record. Gruden’s last game was an embarrassing 20-9 beatdown by the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Twitter reacted to Gruden’s resignation.

Some pointed out the hypocrisy of the takedown of Gruden when the league will be featuring foul-mouthed rappers whose lyrics are as saturated with misogyny and homophobia at the Super Bowl halftime show next February, sending a very bad message to what is normally the biggest television audience of the year.

While Gruden’s emails are indeed vulgar, there is something very creepy and authoritarian with the vigor that the NFL and the media combed through his private communications, allowing the self-righteous mob that continues to terrorize America to mount another scalp on its trophy wall.
