Tucker: ‘Pig’ Chris Cuomo ‘clearly getting fired’ over Shelly Ross groping claim because ‘there’s a lot more’

If this prediction proves accurate, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is headed to the unemployment line now that a sexual harassment allegation against him has surfaced.

Cuomo is “clearly getting fired,” Tucker Carlson told Megyn Kelly during a wide-ranging interview on her podcast. ‘He’s done.” He also implied that additional allegations perhaps might be on the horizon.

In an essay published in the New York Times, former ABC News executive Shelly Ross accused Cuomo, who worked at that network before joining CNN, of groping her. Ross noted that Cuomo subsequently apologized in an email with the subject line “I am ashamed.”

Tucker, the host of his eponymous show on the Fox News Channel, implied that since Ross is a major player in the media, “It’s not a small thing at all.”

“This is a very powerful person accusing Chris Cuomo and proving that he acted like a pig,” he claimed.

CNN is the same channel that allowed the Trump-scorning Chris Cuomo, who was photographed wearing a “Truth” T-shirt over the Labor Weekend, to conduct back-slapping, if not cringey, interviews with his big brother, now-disgraced N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo, about the latter’s so-called leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreover, CNN apparently did not discipline Chris Cuomo for reportedly trying to help his brother behind-the-scenes fend off the Democrat politician’s sexual harassment scandal that prompted his resignation.

Carlson also implied that more accusations might be forthcoming (which history has shown often happens when one person goes public with a #MeToo situation).

Watch the segment of the interview embedded below:

“I don’t think, I know, because I’ve actually seen the complaints, that there’s a lot more…these things are always a pattern of piggish behavior. I have no information that Chris Cuomo broke criminal law. Maybe he did; I’m hardly a lawyer, but he acted like the pig that he is…so I think there’s no question he’s getting fired,” he told his former Fox News colleague.

Carlson then actually praised Chris Cuomo in one respect, despite previously describing him as the single dumbest person ever to perform on cable news.

“I think Chris Cuomo, while he annoys the hell out of me, and I focus on his bad qualities, has a ton of energy, for one thing, which I love. That’s a great thing to have…And I hope for everybody who is racked in public that there is a moment of reckoning, and that there is redemption,” Tucker asserted.

Megyn Kelly chimed in by agreeing with potential forgiveness for saying or doing something stupid, if this was a “one-off” situation.

She insisted, however, that Chris Cuomo has a history of grandstanding, if not prevarication.

“What I see in [Chris Cuomo] is a pattern of deception and boorish behavior over many, many years. When you just look back of over the past couple of years, with the stupid pretending to come out of the basement thing, his miraculous ‘Jesus’ walkout — oh please. CNN let him — abetted his lies in that respect. He was out with COVID on the streets…he lied about that too,” she claimed.

“The stuff with helping his brother, going right to cancel culture, not listening to women, all while looking into the camera…and saying ‘I care very deeply about these issues.’ Oh please: A certain male gesture comes to mind.

“So it’s one thing after another, and to where I look at this man, and I say he’s not an honest broker, and he should not be on TV. I don’t really want to see a bunch of redemption if it involves him looking into a camera night after night spewing more lies,” Megyn Kelly contended.

“I couldn’t agree more,” Tucker Carlson responded. “I look at Cuomo, I look at a bunch of people on the air just in general on cable news, on all channels actually, and what I see is people hiding who they really are, being false. And once you start pretending to be someone you’re not, there’s no end to the lies… I’m not hoping that Chris Cuomo gets another prime-time show, of course not. I’m hoping that Chris Cuomo drops the pretense and presents to the world who he really is…”

Even before the sexual harassment allegation against the younger Cuomo emerged, Megyn Kelly ripped Chris Cuomo as a “loser” and wondered how he could ethically continue as a network news anchor in reporting on such issues given the Andrew Cuomo scandal. “He’s lost all credibility…at a minimum, this guy needs to be turfed for a long time, if not let out of that post.”
