Tucker chooses between Lemon and Cuomo: ‘Single dumbest person ever to perform on cable news’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson insists that Chris Cuomo is dumber than anyone on TV, including the latter’s CNN wingman Don Lemon.

This is significantly upping the media ante in that Lemon is someone that ex-President Donald Trump memorably described, back when he had a Twitter account, as the dumbest man on television.

During one of his signature monologues, the host of Tucker Carlson Tonight was calling out Democrats like “liar” U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and his various corporate media allies such as Cuomo for pushing a debunked story that the Border Patrol used whips on Haitian migrants who are trying to enter America illegally.

Tucker played a montage of clips that included the self-righteous CNN anchor, who he has roasted on several occasions, claiming about the incident that “As an image, to me it does smack of a bygone era of slavery.”

Reacting to that comment, Tucker Carlson laughed, and said “To me – who’s never read a book in my life – it smacks of a bygone era,” as if he was channeling Cuomo’s overbearing way of speaking.

“It is slavery to ride a horse through a crowd of people trying to invade our country,” Carlson continued. “That guy went to Yale Law School, in case you’re wondering if the system is legitimate,” Carlson continued about disgraced ex-N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s brother. “Answer: No.”

“Chris Cuomo really gets the credit he deserves for being the single dumbest person ever to perform on cable news; he makes Don Lemon look like a particle physicist,” he declared, satirically pronouncing the equally anti-Trump anchor’s last name as Le-Mon.

Carlson got one detail wrong: Chris Cuomo attended Yale as an undergraduate; his law degree is from Fordham University.

Carlson may have been nonetheless alluding to that it is not inconceivable that the CNN journalist got into the prestigious Ivy League school through connections because he was the son of a very prominent liberal Democrat at the time, the late N.Y. Gov. Mario Cuomo.

Questions have previously surfaced about the extent of Chris Cuomo’s legal education. During the George Floyd-related civil unrest in the summer of 2020, he wondered this the air: “Please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful?”

As a law student, he may have cut some classes when the U.S. Constitution was under discussion, particularly the First Amendment provision that protects the right of the people to peacefully assemble

In the same segment, Tucker reaffirmed his allegation that the Biden administration has thrown open the border to uncontrolled illegal immigration as a way for the Democrat establishment to create a new voting bloc to support the party’s left-wing agenda.

“But how about you? You’re an American, you were born here; you remember a free and egalitarian America, a country where the same laws apply to everyone no matter what color they were. What about you? Are you allowed this latitude? No — you’re merely in the way. Keep your nose clean, Mr. American citizen. Don your obedience mask, get your shot, pay your taxes, and shut up. You were yesterday’s constituency. Nobody cares what you think.”

Carlson also criticized DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for “accusing his own officers of ‘weaponizing’ their horses.”

“So there’s one of the country’s top law-enforcement officers explaining to the former ‘morning zoo’ girl from AM radio in Yakima, Washington, that he’s offended by the idea of enforcing the law, because laws are racist,” Carlson added, in an apparent reference to Cuomo/Lemon’s CNN co-worker Brianna Keilar.

At the beginning of this portion of the segment, Tucker Carlson gave a brief tutorial about equestrian skills for political/media operatives who reside in downtown D.C.

The whip allegation “is a distressing claim,” he acknowledged. “Where are these images? We checked, and we couldn’t find a single picture like that. Instead, we saw Border Patrol officers using their reins to control their horses. Horses have reins. Reins are not whips, though if you live in Dupont Circle, it’s possible you wouldn’t know the difference.”
