Although guilt by association was never part of the American tradition, that hasn’t stopped the delusional CNN anchor duo of Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo.

Discussing the universally condemned riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 with his like-minded colleague, Lemon claimed, without evidence, that it was about “preserving whiteness in the worst possible way.”

No reasonable person disagrees that the perpetrators of the horrible violence in storming the Capitol should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. To demonize nearly 75 million Trump supporters, however, who hail from all demographics and walks of life, with the race card, seems to be a bit much even for the so-called most trusted name in news.

CNN is the same network that described summer-long rioting as mostly peaceful protests, however. The channel now argues that the mostly peaceful pro-Trump rally attended by about 500,000 Americans where President Trump and others spoke about the disputed election that was terribly marred by a relatively small group of violent extremists constituted an insurrection.

In a video clip that is admittedly difficult to watch or listen to, Lemon — who President Trump once described as the “the dumbest man on television” — with the tacit agreement of Cuomo went on to imply that each Trump voter bears responsibility for what happened.

“You’re in the crowd who voted for Trump. If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who the Klan supported. You voted for the person who Nazis support. You voted for the person who the alt-right supports.

“That’s the crowd that you are in. You voted for the person who incited a crowd to go into the Capitol and potentially take the lives of lawmakers. Took the lives of police officers. Took the lives of innocent lives who were there on the Capitol that day. You voted on that side.

Law school graduate Chris Cuomo, ironically enough under the circumstances, previously revealed his ignorance of the U.S. Constitution in wondering on-the-air about where it said that protesters have to be peaceful in the context of the looting and arson that occurred over the summer months during the civil unrest.

For longer than anyone can remember, Lemon and Cuomo formed an anti-Trump tag team on the pro-Democrat channel, which will probably lose even more market share than it already has once Trump leaves the White House.

In the aftermath of what the president described as the calamity at the Capitol, the U.S. House voted to impeach President Trump for incitement of insurrection by a vote of 232 to 197, which included 10 Republicans.

Legal scholar and Fox News Channel host Mark Levin has implied that “violent militia types” infiltrated the rally who weren’t MAGA supporters, but that remains to be established, if at all, during the investigation. “We conservatives, we Trump supporters, have been denouncing violence from day one,” he added.

Apart from the underlying motivation, federal law enforcement sources reportedly believe the attack on the U.S. Capitol was planned in advance after noting military-like “small unit tactics” being employed during the assault.
