Brazilian president’s son shreds ‘Marxist’ de Blasio for warning unvaxxed dad to stay away from UN

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s son excoriated New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio who warned his father to stay away from the UN because he is unvaccinated, insinuating that he would create an unsafe environment for the public.

“We need to send the message to all the world leaders, including most notably Bolsonaro from Brazil… If you don’t want to be vaccinated, don’t bother coming because everyone should be safe together,” de Blasio proclaimed, as he enacted a heavy-handed mandate that requires proof of vaccination for anyone who wants to engage in basic commerce and activities in New York City.

Eduardo Bolsonaro, who is a member of the Chamber of Deputies in Brazil’s legislature and the leader of the Partido Social Liberal, sat down with Fox News host Tucker Carlson and stated that de Blasio is a textbook Marxist who wants to control the lives of everyone under his authority.

“It shows a lot about how left-wing people are. They want to control everything. I know that De Blasio is a Marxist and he follows a lot of what Antonio Gramsci says,” commented Bolsonaro who astutely referenced the Marxist founder of the Italian Communist Party.

“For them, everything’s about politics and ideology. I don’t care about much of what he thinks, I don’t waste my time listening to him,” Bolsonaro said dismissing de Blasio’s warning.

“Sometimes, people who don’t live here see things with that clarity. The first thing you said is de Blasio is a Marxist, that’s obvious to you,” Carlson noted, calling the leftist Democrat a “failed mayor.”

Bolsonaro was blunt and issued a warning that Marxism has spread across and throughout America. He quoted the Declaration of Independence’s call for “life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness” and the First Amendment while pointing out that the federal government has significantly eroded those freedoms.

“Nowadays, it looks like some politicians have forgot about that,” he asserted. “They don’t care about that. They want to control everybody’s life – and in the point that even the Taliban can talk things about free speech to the Big Tech – this is an example if the U.S. is going to talk about liberty and democracy. We are scared about what is going on in the U.S.”

He also warned that what happened in Venezuela 20 years ago can easily happen in America as well. Bolsonaro pointed to the fact that Caracas was a booming metropolis until Hugo Chavez rose to power, Venezuela was one of the most financially and resource-rich countries in South America. Nicolas Maduro who took over the government after Chavez passed away has plunged the country into bleak widespread poverty under his totalitarian rule.

“I have advice for the American people. Do not think that Venezuela is something far, far away from you. If you told Venezuelans during the ’90s [the country] would turn itself to a dictatorship, they would never take it seriously,” he said.

For President Bolsonaro’s part, he ignored de Blasio and came to New York for the UN assembly anyway.

He spoke eloquently against socialism and forced COVID mandates as well. Bolsonaro has already contracted the virus and recovered from it.

“We support vaccination efforts, however, my administration has not supported a vaccine or health passport or any other vaccine-related obligations,” he contended.

The Brazilian president was photographed eating pizza outside with a number of colleagues. He was not allowed inside the eatery because he was unvaccinated but it didn’t stop him from enjoying a slice on a Manhattan sidewalk.

Mayor de Blasio peevishly hit back via Twitter against President Bolsonaro.
