Tapper makes Fauci weigh in on Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend’s swollen testicles

Dr. Anthony Fauci took aim at rap star Nicki Minaj on Tuesday after she made a series of tweets on Monday that claimed the COVID vaccine caused a friend of her cousin’s testicles to swell up and made him impotent.

Minaj tweeted: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

CNN host Jake Tapper asked Fauci during an interview about Minaj’s claim because she has a following of millions of fans and is definitely an influencer. “Is there any evidence that the Pfizer, the Moderna, or the J&J vaccines cause any reproductive issues in men or women?” Tapper asked Fauci.

“The answer to that, Jake, is a resounding no. There’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen. So the answer to your question is no,” Fauci arrogantly proclaimed.

“The only way we know to counter mis- and disinformation is to provide a lot of correct information,” Fauci told Tapper. “[These kinds of claims] may be innocent on her part: I’m not blaming her for anything, but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis except a one-off anecdote.”

Minaj made it clear that she’s not opposed to getting the jab, she just wants to look into it more before doing so. Her tweets, however, set off a firestorm of vaccine controversy. She was roundly attacked by the media over her decision.

The rapper got into a verbal fight with MSNBC’s Joy Reid, Meghan McCain, Piers Morgan, and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson over her tweets. She ripped all of them. She called Reid a “lying homophobic coon” in one tweet.

She also told former “The View” co-host Meghan McCain, “Eat sh*t you,” over the vaccination debate.

Tuesday, Fauci’s British counterpart, U.K. Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Chris Whitty, responded to Minaj’s tweet by asserting that people who knowingly spread false information “should be ashamed.”

In response to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Minaj later posted an audio message on Twitter, claiming that she is “actually British” and offered to send him a portfolio of her work.

Ironically, Minaj’s vaccination stance is garnering her a number of conservative followers on social media.

Former Director of U.S. National Intelligence Richard Grenell tweeted, “I’m following Nicki Minaj now. She fights back and I give her total respect. #America.”

Juanita Broaddrick, of former President Bill Clinton infamy, tweeted, “Nicki Minaj- 1 joy Reid- -10.”

Senior Editor at Fox News, Will Ricciardella, also commented on Minaj’s tweet: “There is a distinct difference between intellectual elites of all colors and the American people of all colors. There is more solidarity among blue collar working class Americans — which isn’t exclusively white — than the intelligentisa/media will ever acknowledge.”

Fauci attempting to put Minaj in her place fired up social media:
