‘How the media REALLY works’: Nicki Minaj takes NO prisoners in anti-media tear, brings receipts

Rapper Nicki Minaj is getting a firsthand lesson on how it feels to be an outspoken conservative in America today.

Her mistake, it seems, is to reject the media narrative on COVID-19 vaccines and push back against the angry race lady at MSNBC, Joy Reid, who attacked her for igniting a vaccine firestorm with some eye-popping tweets.

Reid went after the Trinidadian-born rapper for taking to social media to say she would get vaccinated “once I feel I’ve done enough research.” Minaj also revealed that she’d already contracted COVID-19 — which opens up an entire wing of science many on the left refuse to explore.

Not done with Reid by a long shot, Minaj appeared to also have an awakening when it comes to the deceitful media — a major problem Reid has in taking on the rapper is that she can’t play the race or privilege card with her.

She called Reid a “dumb *ss,” and slammed the MSNBC host for being “so thirsty to down another black woman (by the request of the white man),” before revisiting the dust-up in a later tweet.

As seen here, the recording artist managed to get “coon” and “Uncle Tomina” in the same tweet. A “lying homophobic coon,” at that!

Seems Reid will never live down the homophobic blog posts, or the debunked claim that she had been hacked.

We tend to forget that Reid is part of the liberal media elite — perhaps, it’s the lack of actual talent that throws us — but Minaj learned real quick what can happen when you dare wander from the progressive plantation.

Exploiting a tweet she posted about the alleged fate that befell a cousin’s friend when he got the vaccine, impotency and swollen testicles, the Daily Beast ran the headline: “Nicki Minaj Won’t Get Vaxxed, Says She’s Worried About Swollen Testicles.”

Minaj tweeted: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

“Pls show me where I said I’m ‘worried about’ anything. Yes. I’m glad you guys get to see how the media REALLY works. I’ll have them contacted along with others,” Minaj tweeted.

She also responded to a Variety report that she wasn’t attending Monday night’s Met Gala because of a vaccine requirement: “Never said this. Glad all my tweets were left up. On it.”

Right on cue, The Washington Post was quick to tote the pro-vaccine water, hitting her with the dreaded “misinformation” tag:

In fact, the ensuing collective media assault against the rapper is a case study of just how the liberal media works today, as if they all receive identical marching orders.

Minaj also had a parting message Meghan McCain, who has a habit of glomming onto what she perceives as popular pop culture happenings to prove how hip she is — in this case, she responded to the tweet about the swollen testicles.

“Eat sh*t you,” the rapper tweeted — echoing a thought shared by many on the right.

Turns out, Minaj is winning over a legion of new fans because of her fighting spirit and an unwillingness to be bullied.

Here’s but a few  examples of the responses to the brouhaha from Twitter:
