The left wastes no time marching out next desperate narrative: Comparing Jan 6 to the Taliban

In an effort to deflect from Biden’s catastrophic failures as President, the left is lining up a new narrative outrageously claiming that the Jan. 6 riot was worse than the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban.

Comedian Stephen Colbert stepped up to the plate on Monday making the stupendously disingenuous comparison. It’s all about trying to blame former President Trump for Biden’s snafu while painting most Americans as white supremacist domestic terrorists. He profusely praised President Biden withdrawing troops and then agreed with his blaming everyone but himself for the debacle in Afghanistan.

“He’s right,” Colbert stated. “Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in a civil war in Afghanistan? We’ve got our own on Capitol Hill.”

The audience unbelievably laughed at that pronouncement while an image from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot appeared on the screen.

But wait… there’s more. Colbert is far from alone in his insane and overtly desperate concocted comparison.

Enter MSNBC host Joy Reid who was slammed on Saturday for drawing a comparison between the religious right in America and the Taliban. She had the audacity to actually claim that they want to force women “solely into childbirth” and out of the workforce.

“This is the real-life Handmaid’s Tale,” Reid delusionally tweeted. She compared the horrific devolving situation in Afghanistan to the fictional novel and dystopian drama series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” where women are portrayed as property and forced to bear children. The difference is that the atrocities in Afghanistan actually happened.

“A true cautionary tale for the U.S., which has our own far religious right dreaming of a theocracy that would impose a particular brand of Christianity, drive women from the workforce and solely into childbirth, and control all politics,” she insanely tweeted.

And she’s experiencing deja vu over Jan. 6 it would seem.

But as egregious, inflammatory, and anger-inducing as both Colbert and Reid are, no one showcases the desperation of the left to cover for Biden more than left-wing documentary filmmaker Michale Moore does.

He compared protesters on Jan. 6 to radical “Taliban” terrorists on Monday, calling the former “our Taliban” and claiming that, along with their Afghan counterparts, they are “at their best” when seizing symbols of power.

“Their Taliban, our Taliban, everybody’s got a Taliban,” Moore tweeted, posting an image showing flag-waving protesters who entered the Capitol, beneath one of the armed Taliban insurgents who stormed and seized the presidential palace in Kabul.

“They’re at their best when they confiscate the halls of power,” he bloviated.

On Sunday, Moore mocked the U.S. over its setbacks in Afghanistan via Twitter, “Aug 15 Kabul, Saigon. The fall, once again. America loses another war. Our longest war. “We’re #1!!” We spent over $2 trillion. We sacrificed over 2,300 American lives to invade a country where Bin Laden was never, nowhere, to be found. Bush said he had no interest in capturing him.”

Netizens on Twitter had a few choice words for these leftists and some reminders as well:
