Was the 2020 presidential election clean? Prove it or lose it

The United States is the greatest nation on the face of the earth. We have never been conquered or subjugated by anyone or anything. We are a nation of winners! I saw this firsthand as an Army brat living in Germany. Whenever we went to the airport or train station we could instantly spot an American in the crowd. It’s not a “pride” thing, it’s just how we carry ourselves. We’ve never been broken.

And this attitude is reflected in our love of competition. We compete at everything! It’s almost hardwired into our DNA. We hate to lose! Second place is simply the first place loser. There’s a real reason most of the best athletes in the world, no matter which country they compete for, train in the United States.

And equally central to our nature is our built-in hatred of those who cheat.

What if months after the Super Bowl it was discovered that Tom Brady and the Bucs had paid off all the referees, and an insider actually had all the receipts? Do they get to keep the Lombardi Trophy?

What if Michael Phelps set a world record every time he jumped into the water only to find out his bloodstream contained massive amounts of performance-enhancing drugs? Does he get to keep the gold medals?

You know the answer. Just ask Lance Armstrong, Pete Rose, or Marion Jones.

This is a fundamental issue all Americans can agree on. We are absolutely intolerant of those who cheat their way to the top. Even those pampered millionaires in the NBA, MLB, NFL, etc., regardless of political persuasion, can agree that competition is conducted using rules, and those who break the rules forfeit the game. This is why any officials or players who “rig the game” are immediately regarded with scorn and contempt. In fact, most of them are societal pariahs until the day they leave planet earth.

So why do we tolerate even the appearance of cheating in our election system? Elections are arguably the most significant competition in the nation. They determine the direction of our country for years, perhaps decades.

I submit to you that anyone who is tolerant of what occurred in the November 2020 general election, who isn’t screaming for an audit in every state is blatantly, patently un-American!

Before any athlete competes in the Olympics, they agree to multiple “audits” or tests of their urine and their blood. If they don’t agree to these tests, they are denied entry and treated as if they had tested positive for a banned substance. They’re not even allowed to compete. And if, after the fact, it is found even a gold medalist cheated they are stripped of any awards and often barred from further competition.

Election integrity is the lifeblood of our republic. Elections are the basis of legitimate governance. If an election is tainted or corrupted, the entire body of the republic suffers the effects, like a body suffering tainted or poisoned blood. And if left untreated, this will ultimately result in poisoning the whole system because those who govern do so without the consent of the governed. The Declaration of Independence spells out the importance of that consent: “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Without that consent, power is wielded unjustly. That’s what our founders said. Wars have resulted from such things. When the founders saw that those ruling them did so without their consent, they went to war for their freedom and won it.

With mounting evidence of irregularities and inconsistencies coast to coast in the 2020 presidential election, why are we citizens having to fight tooth and nail just to have an audit?

Just like any Olympian or professional athlete wants their name cleared when allegations occur, Joe Biden and his administration should be demanding that every state conduct a forensic audit of the machines and ballots. They should be leading the charge for election integrity to clear their names and to maintain the integrity of our republic through clean and fair elections… but they’re not. Instead, they are using the United States Department of Justice to threaten and intimidate states that are attempting to audit the elections.

Americans should ask themselves a simple question: Why? When someone acts like they have something to hide, they usually are. What is Joe Biden trying to hide?
