A left-wing extremist heckled Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul during a virtual town hall event last week, prompting leftists  to label the extremist a “hero.”

The so-called “hero” is Alexis Toon, a Macy’s tax associate who operates a TikTok account in which she boasts of “love” and “peace” as defined by the left.

During the event, which was reportedly designed to allow the Republican senator’s constituents to ask him questions, Toon chose to express “love” and “peace” (as defined by the left) by insulting Paul, a man known for performing charitable eye surgeries.

“Hi senator. I am a proud Kentucky citizen. And I just wanted to tell you to get f–ked,” she said, triggering shock from the moderator sitting next to Paul.

The clip above quickly went viral, spawning a flurry of praise and adulation from leftists eager to tell the world all about their new “hero.”

In addition, one newfound fan played a since-deleted TikTok video from Toon showing her smugly smiling and showing off her ID in celebration of her stunt.

There are thousands of more tweets like these.

Take note of the last one, which references Rene Boucher. He’s the criminal thug who broke the senator’s ribs during an assault in 2017 over a dispute.

“Boucher was arrested in November 2017 after he attacked the senator outside of his Bowling Green, Kentucky home. He was reportedly upset after Paul blew some leaves onto his property while using his lawnmower. The U.S. District Court Judge presiding over the case, Judge Marianne Battani, called the attack a ‘dispute between neighbors’ and that it was not politically motivated,” according to The Daily Caller.

“The Senator told police the neighbor ‘came onto his property and tackled him from behind, forcing him to the ground and causing pain.’ The attack left him with six broken ribs, pleural effusion and ultimately pneumonia.”

Following the attack, Boucher became a hero to the mainstream left, to the point that two years ago, Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar, a sitting congresswoman, retweeted a veritable endorsement of his horrific attack.

Prior to his tragic death earlier this year — which, as a reminder, was celebrated by the “loving,” “tolerant” left — conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh frequently argued that the modern Democrat Party “is the largest hate group in America.”

For reasons that remain unclear, sometimes it seems like the left is in a rush to prove his words true. Consider that in the past few years, members of the left have:

  • Cheered on people like Toon and Boucher …
  • Promoted blatant racism
  • Supported violent extremists
  • Challenged biological science
  • Called for the tearing down of America …
  • Called for the silencing of their ideological opponents …
  • And called for the murder of those who would offend them …

Paul wasn’t even the only figure on the right to face harassment last week. Over in Montana, a left-wing extremist named Dan Bailey harassed Fox News host Tucker Carlson in front of his daughter at a fly shop in Livingston.

Bailey then proudly shared a clip of the harassment to social media. The clip shows him ranting at Carlson about how he’s “the worst human being known to man” and saying he doesn’t care that the Fox News host’s daughter is hearing this.

Like Toon’s stunt, Bailey’s harassment of Carlson also provoked an outcry of worship from the left.

The way the left instinctively praises violent extremists and thuggish oafs while instinctively demeaning genteel but opinionated men like Paul and Carlson, it’s almost as if to them, the good guys are the bad guys, and the bad guys are the good guys
