On Monday, radical Rep. Ilhan Omar retweeted a sick endorsement of the violence against Sen. Rand Paul by his neighbor in an assault that broke several of his ribs.

One-time B-list celebrity Tom Arnold had tweeted, “Imagine being Rand Paul’s next-door neighbor and having to deal with @RandPaul lying cowardly circular whiney bullcrap about lawn clippings. No wonder he ripped his toupee off.”

Omar’s retweet of Arnold’s post deservedly raised the ire of several conservatives who are concerned about leftists’ increasing calls for attacks against political opponents and their supporters.

“Congresswoman Ilhan Omar retweeting calls for political violence against @randpaul. I’m not surprised, and look forward to the forthcoming silence from the media on the issue,” wrote Donald Trump Jr.

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel expressed her disgust with Omar’s latest “vile comments.”

“Ilhan Omar is the latest member of the socialist squad to spread vile comments. Today she spread the message that Sen. @RandPaul deserved to be assaulted. Absolutely disgusting. If a Republican did this the media would be up in arms.”

“Really @IlhanMN ?,” Michelle Malkin posted. “That violent neighbor broke six of Sen. @randpaul ‘s ribs and you are retweeting unhinged @tomarnold joking about it?”

Republican Sen. Paul apparently got himself onto Omar’s hit list last week when he said during an interview: “I’m willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia. I think she can look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia.”

In that interview with Breitbart, Paul commented that in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he lives, there are many immigrants and refugees who are great citizens, but that those people are thankful to be in America. “Then I hear Rep. Omar say, ‘Oh, America is a terrible place, there is no justice here,'” he said. “Well, she came here and we fed her, we clothed her, she got welfare, she got school, she got healthcare, and then, lo and behold, she has the honor of actually winning a seat in Congress, and she says we’re a terrible country? I think that’s about as ungrateful as you can get.”

In 2017, the senator was attacked in his yard by next-door neighbor Rene Boucher, who had a home next door to the senator in Bowling Green. Boucher pleaded guilty to the assault and Paul was awarded a civil judgment against Boucher for more than $582,000.

Paul testified early this year during the civil trial that he feared for his life after Boucher blind-sided him and slammed into him while he was mowing his grass.

Arnold’s tweet suggesting violence against Rand Paul is not the first from the fun-loving Hollywood crowd. Last year, fellow leftist Bette Midler took a swing at him on Twitter for standing in the way of the passage of a funding bill in February when she wrote: “Where’s Rand Paul’s neighbor when we need him?”
