Judge Jeanine Pirro believes that “America as we know it is coming to an end,” but pinpoints the cause of the decline and proposes a simple solution to get America back to the society the Founding Fathers intended.
“America as we know it is coming to an end. We are watching it in real-time, but it is moving so quickly, that when it is gone, we won’t be able to predict the exact moment it happened,” Pirro said Saturday on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.”
“What I fought for in law enforcement for over three decades, what my father and grandfather fought for in World War II, what you and your parents and grandparents fought for is ending,” she continued. “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. How many of us would describe life today as being what our founding fathers intended?”
Of all the ills of society, such as being “canceled” by Big Tech as President Donald Trump was, or the infiltration of critical race theory in our schools, indoctrinating children to believe that based on the color of your skin you are either a victim or an oppressor, she diagnosed the worst sickness of all that has overtaken America: Crime.
“I could go on. But one thing, more than any other, that signals the ruination of a society and trumps all else is crime. When crime is not prosecuted, when criminals are not arrested, lawlessness, anarchy, and chaos result,” Pirro passionately contended. “Dominos continue to fall, and we witness the crippling effect of crime. You see, crime not only harms the victim, it visits the loved ones, family, friends, neighbors, and the community at large. Fear becomes generalized. It immobilizes people. On the other hand, criminals are emboldened to continue their rampage.”

Criminals in some areas like California, where felony shoplifting charges have been downgraded to a misdemeanor, have become so emboldened by lax laws that earlier this week they brazenly waltzed into a Los Angeles area TJ Maxx, grabbed armfuls of merchandise, and sauntered out – without fear of reprisal.
“You reap what you sow, if you hate the police, you defund the police, you put a target on their backs, the message to criminals is clear, there are no consequences,” Pirro explained.
She argued that the only way to stop these anti-American zealots is to bring in politicians that believe in law and order.
Pirro tied the rise in crime to the ill-conceived left-wing policy of bail reform, which she called equivalent to a “get out of jail free” card. In fact, in March 2020, the New York Police Department noted a 22.5 percent uptick in major crimes compared to the prior year. The difference between the two years was that a bail reform law went into effect on Jan 1 2020 which kept most non-violent criminals on the streets.
Lori Lightfoot, the bigoted Mayor of Chicago who recently declared she would only grant one on one interviews with black and brown journalists, said, “we can’t arrest our way out of this problem.”
But Pirro explained that history has proven that we can. Citing the high crime rates in the 1970s in New York, she explained how prosecutors and police worked together to prosecute all crimes and stopping crime in its tracks.
“It’s time for America to get back to law and order so that we can live the life we were promised,” Pirro said. “One of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
