Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw has launched a service through his congressional website for people of various stripes and professions to anonymously report “woke” military activity that doesn’t comport with the purposes and values of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The service is basically a whistleblower form that appears to allow anyone — federal employees, state employees, private sector employees, military members and the retired — to report “woke” behavior by the military.
“Enough is enough. We won’t let our military fall to woke ideology. We have just launched a whistleblower webpage where you can submit your story. Your complaint will be legally protected, and go to my office and @SenTomCotton,” the congressman wrote in a tweet announcing the service Friday afternoon.

With written permission we will anonymously publish egregious complaints on social media and tell the country what’s happening in our military.

For too long, progressive Pentagon staffers have been calling the shots for our warfighters, and spineless military commanders have let it happen. Now we are going to expose you.

For some reason, the Republican congressman didn’t include a press release with the tweet announcement. However, he has in recent days spoken out rather frequently about the military’s embrace of “woke” ideology.
After the U.S. Army published a series of stunningly “woke” recruitment ads earlier this month, Crenshaw — a combat veteran who lost his eye to an IED blast in Afghanistan — warned in a tweet that Americans “aren’t going to stand by as our military becomes another institution crippled by woke political correctness.”

I hope the message to military leadership is clear: We aren’t going to stand by as our military becomes another institution crippled by woke political correctness.
No more critical race theory, no more identity politics, no more political witch hunts.
We’ve had enough. https://t.co/H0ppSOUp0p

The issue has been on Crenshaw’s radar since at least March, when he dedicated an episode of his podcast, “Hold These Truths,” to the “woke military.”
“The military, like everything else in society, is becoming politicized. Critical race theory, taxpayer-funded gender reassignment surgeries, unconscious bias training, and more priorities of the far left are radically reshaping it,” a description of the podcast episode reads.
“It’s time for our leaders in the Armed Forces to push back against the wokeism, because America’s national security depends on its military maintaining a mission-focused, merit-based system of operations,” it adds.
He was joined on the episode by Florida Rep. Mike Waltz, a Green Beret who served in the U.S. Army for 24 years and currently serves in the National Guard.

During the podcast, Crenshaw noted that the military’s embrace of “woke” is anathema to its core values and purposes.
“The priorities of our military is supposed to be war fighting. Literally, it is the Department of Defense. It is not the Department of Social Engineering. This stuff really matters for the safety of our country, for the protection of a very, very sacred institution,” he said.
“I mean, the military has the highest credibility in the public right now. And we’re seeing all sorts of nonsense like the Tucker Carlson thing. Like we saw this week,” he added.
At the time, Fox News host Tucker Carlson was attacked by multiple senior U.S. military officials for the supposed crime or voicing his disagreement with the “feminization” of the U.S. Armed Forces.

As an example of this very phenomenon, Waltz then pointed to the emerging push to lower military standards to make it easier for women to obtain certain rules.
“Everyone should be able to compete, and if a woman meets the standards that we’ve set to be in combat as an infantryman or as an artilleryman or tank or a tank operator, fine,” he said.
The problem, he continued, is that this isn’t enough for “woke “activists.
“What I find is, the same groups pounding the table to allow women access to all of these roles, then a couple of years down the line are then pounding the table and saying, well, why is only a certain percentage getting through? You must be, you must have systematic, discriminatory policies,” he said.
“And then it becomes … pressure to lower the standards. And now it’s ‘equity’ based rather than equality-based,” he added.
Indeed, and that’s exactly what’s happening now.
“The Army is considering adding gender-specific standards to its new Army Combat Fitness Test, or ACFT, after early data shows nearly half of female soldiers can’t pass the test and might face being removed from service once it becomes official next year,” Military.com reported just this past week.
Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the military’s embrace of “woke.” In recent months, the military has also embraced critical race theory propaganda and begun funding sex-change operations.
Crenshaw hopes to help put a stop to this by making it easier for military insiders to report the insane nonsense they’re encountering from within. But whether or not this will be enough to stop the “woke” tide overwhelming the military and this nation at large remains to be seen.
