US Army’s ‘woke’ recruitment ad featuring cartoons and lesbians complete contrast to Russian effort

The U.S. Army’s new recruitment video may leave rational Americans clinging to the hope that we’re not tested anytime soon. And that anxiety grows exponentially when comparing it to a Russian Army recruitment ad.

Democrats have long sought to use the U.S. military as a massive social engineering experiment, and with the radical left steering America behind 78-year-old President Joe Biden, who may or may not be in early stage dementia, they are doing just that.

Just take a gander at the “woke” Army recruitment video featuring a soldier with two lesbian moms, who participates in a same-sex wedding and equality marches.

The ad, titled “Emma|The Calling,” tells the story of Corporal Emma Malonelord, who operates the Patriot missile defense system.

“It begins in California, with a little girl raised by two moms,” Malonelord said in the animated video. “Although I had a fairly typical childhood, took ballet, played violin, I also marched for equality. I like to think I’ve been defending freedom from an early age.”

“When I was 6 years old, one of my moms had an accident that left her paralyzed,” she continued. “Doctors said she might never walk again, but she tapped into my family’s pride to get back on her feet, eventually standing at the altar to marry my other mom.”

Not that the left is suddenly going to embrace the military — at least, not yet.

LGBT publisher PinkNews tweeted: “US Army ad uses tear-jerking queer story to recruit for ‘world’s largest killing machine.'”

The ad is part of a series, “The Calling,” which features five soldiers sharing why they joined the Army — three females and two males, none of the five soldiers are white.

The series was released on the heels of an equally “woke” CIA recruitment ad, coming in a world fraught with challenges, especially from China and Iran.

“Growing up gay in a small Southern town, I was lucky to have a wonderful and accepting family. I always struggled with the idea that I may not be able to discuss my personal life at work,” said a man featured in the agency’s ad. “Imagine my surprise when I was taking my oath at CIA and I noticed a rainbow on then-Director Brennan’s lanyard.”

“Officers from the top down work hard to ensure that every single person, whatever their gender, gender identity, race, disability, or sexual orientation can bring their entire self to work every day,” he happily announced.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was not impressed.

“If you’re a Chinese communist, or an Iranian Mullah, or Kim Jong Un … would this scare you?” he tweeted. “We’ve come a long way from Jason Bourne.”

Juxtapose the progressive messaging seen in these productions released under the Biden administration to a recruitment ad from Russia.

In what can only be described as a striking contrast, the ad features masculine young men in prime physical condition… actually training for battle.
