GOP Reps slap posters in halls of Congress, send AOC and her ‘Hamas Caucus’ an unmistakable message

A number of House Republicans sent a stark message to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the “Hamas Caucus” by placing pro-Israeli signs in a hallway they share with the “Squad” member.

Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) was the first one to plaster a wall with a “Stand With Israel” sign outside his office. He wanted to make sure Ocasio-Cortez saw it every time she left her office to vote according to a House Republican source.

It didn’t end there. Reps. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Lisa McClain (R-MI), and Chris Jacobs (R-NY) all followed his lead and put up their own signs outside their offices as well. They all share a hallway with Ocasio-Cortez.

“It’s absolutely astonishing that we have members of Congress attempting to equate Israel’s right to defend itself to the terrorist attacks being orchestrated by Iran-backed Hamas,” Waltz remarked to Fox News.

“Americans need to hold firm in reminding our country that we stand with our strongest ally in the Middle East and remind the newly formed Hamas Caucus that these fringe views will not be accepted in Congress,” Waltz declared.

McClain also decried those in Congress siding with Hamas terrorists instead of our strongest ally Israel. She proudly displayed her pro-Israeli sign outside her office to proclaim that America stands with Israel.

“I proudly hung a sign outside my office to show everyone, especially my neighbor across the hall, that Republicans are united in standing with Israel,” McClain stated. “It’s horrifying that some House Democrats side with Hamas, a terror organization. Israel is one of America’s greatest allies and needs our support now more than ever.”

“This week, I cosponsored H. Res 394 and H. Res 396 to condemn Hamas’ violent acts against the State of Israel and to support Israel’s right to defend itself against acts of war,” she reported.

Senator Ted Cruz has also been very aggressive in going after those in Congress that are vilifying Israel and standing by Hamas. He was very blunt in stating that the “Squad’s” statements “might as well be issued on behalf of Hamas.” He also stated: “I never thought we would see this: Democrat members of Congress acting as the press secretaries for Hamas terrorists.”

The hatred and disdain for Israel were palpable from the “Squad.” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) tried to cast doubt on Hamas’ using human shields. She then accused Israel of “crimes against humanity” and “human rights abuses” after they protected themselves from thousands of Hamas rockets. Rep. Rashida Tlaib accused Israel of murdering babies. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also attacked Israel, tweeting, “Apartheid states aren’t democracies.”

“Squad” members have been excoriated for their anti-Israel comments following the breakout of hostilities between Israeli fighting forces and Hamas terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip. They were attacked from both sides of the political aisle for their comments.

Rep. Ted Deutch, a Florida Democrat who represents a Boca Raton district that used to be represented by Col. Allen West, took to the floor of the House and slammed his colleagues: “Moral clarity. That’s what this moment calls for. Hamas is a terrorist organization. It uses children as shields & has fired 1,750+ rockets targeting civilians. America stands with our ally Israel & against the Hamas terrorists.”

“Shockingly, some condemn Israel rather than the terrorists. Not me. I stand with Israel,” Deutch declared.
