Fmr. officer Brandon Tatum: ‘How come black people can get away with being openly racist?’

Former police officer Brandon Tatum asks a very politically incorrect question that he says is true, but that nobody wants to talk about in his latest video, “How come black people can be racist and get away with it?”

He wants to know how black people get a pass on apparently being openly racist. In fact, he said, they are “celebrated” for it in this country. Tatum’s query seems similar to the type of question asked by former Colorado state Judge Natalie T. Chase, except she lost her job for asking why black people can use the N-word but white people can’t.

Tatum highlighted a woman named Eva Maria on Twitter. He acknowledged that he doesn’t know her but he showcased her tweet that he went on to address:

“Good morning, I made an email template for Black and Brown students who need a day off to sit with the murder of Daunte Wright and the video of Adam Toledo being murdered that will release today. Take the space you need homie,” she tweeted.

Tatum called her a “complete brain-dead activist.” He said that what she wrote is “victimhood, plantation-brain of black people” and “this is also plantation-brain meaning you listen to everything the media says and this is also plantation-brain ‘I’m racist but I blame other people for being racist.'”

He pointed out that the email template can be used to send to teachers to “let them know you’re not going to be in class, you don’t want an education, you don’t want to excel in life, you have no future that you want to be competitive with because you’re worried about somebody named Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo.”

Then Tatum launched into a justified rant concerning those who have been “excused” from attending class over the two tragedies:

First of all, Daunte Wright, which you’re skipping class for… let’s just get this clarified… and take a moment of silence and a day off while all these other white students aren’t taking the day off because this is only for black and brown people. So just go ahead and be the dummies in society and lay on the back burner. But you want to go take a day off on your education for a person named Daunte Wright who was a 20-year-old man committing crimes, out of control as a 20-year-old, doing armed robberies, uh driving on suspended driver’s license, not suspended driver’s license but suspended registration. or expired registration, uh trying to flee police, fled police on one occasion, uh in possession of an illegal gun and all kinds of other stuff this kid doing.

Smoking weed and drinking and just waving a gun on camera thugging, you’re not gonna skip class for somebody reasonable, you’re gonna skip class for a thug, then let’s go on Adam Toledo. First of all, where is this boy’s parents… that he’s a 13-year-old boy with a grown man at two o’clock in the morning shooting a gun off in the middle of an intersection, running from police… pulls a gun out, tries to throw the gun as he’s putting his hands up and you know how that ends. His nickname was Little Homicide. 13-year-old boy nicknamed Little Homicide. Thugging. You brain-dead people like this person want to be racist enough to say black and brown people shouldn’t go to class and they want you to sit out for these thugs. Not nobody. Not in honor of somebody achieving something great in honor of somebody at their university that’s black, that’s been done wrong legitimately. No, but in honor of some thugs but only because they black and brown that you’re supposed to give them any credit, any love.

Tatum went on to say how he fails to see how this will make things better. He labeled those trying to identify somehow with the shootings as “weak” because they are aligning themselves with thugs and with individuals who were living in a manner that was eventually going to get them killed.

He couldn’t understand why one should get time off from school over a person that they never knew. Tatum contended this is the kind of stuff that is destroying America’s young people. He was very blunt that skipping school over this issue is dumb and that while these students are sitting out of class, others are excelling.

Tatum stated that the situation should be handled by going to class and following the law so you don’t wind up like any of those who were killed. He also said people shouldn’t glamorize individuals who are robbing people at gunpoint and shooting at random people at an intersection. Then he admonished people to know the facts surrounding one of these altercations before claiming that someone was “murdered.”
