A New Jersey man is fighting for his life in hospital with COVID-19, despite being vaccinated against the virus.
Francisco Cosme, 52, was vaccinated with the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine on March 6 – traveling from his home in Edison, New Jersey to Manhattan for the jab.
The vaccine is considered effective after two weeks and Cosme continued to follow the CDC advice about social distancing and face masks.
Yet his daughter, Michelle Torres, 31, told The New York Post that he fell ill on April 1.
