Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe commented in a live interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Friday that the Capitol attack which left the assailant and an officer dead was “one of the results” of the Jan. 6 riot.
McCabe stated on-air that “it’s not uncommon to have people who are suffering from some form of mental illness or emotional distress” to take out their grievances or delusions on the government. The example that he offered was a woman from Connecticut in 2013 who attempted to drive her car through a checkpoint in D.C. and was shot.
He labeled the attack Friday on the Capitol as “a similar situation, somebody unbalanced and bringing those concerns to the symbols of government.”
“I think what’s different here is you’re seeing the playing out of not just a mental illness, but a grievance against the government,” McCabe commented. “I would suggest that is one of the results of what we saw on January 6th.” The Capitol became “a primary target” for those that were angry with the government following the riot, McCabe claimed.

The statement left many shaking their heads in disbelief. The attacker was identified as Noah Green, 25, a Muslim from Indiana with apparent ties to Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam. According to his college football profile, he was also an admirer of Malcolm X.
Following the attack and after Green was identified, the media raced to label him a “lone wolf” and to state that he had no connection to terrorism. He allegedly had no known connection to the riot on Jan. 6 either.
The man responsible for the deadly Good Friday Capitol Hill attack was a devout follower of Louis Farrakhan & the black nationalist Nation of Islam group. Farrakhan has close ties to Democrat leaders. Will the media make sure they’re made to answer for those links?
Of course not

Green reportedly rammed his vehicle into two police officers and a barricade outside the Capitol building on Friday. He then got out of the car and brandished a knife. Green was shot and died following the attack. William Evans, one of the officers hit by the vehicle also died. He was an 18-year veteran of the police force. The other officer was hospitalized.

The attacker’s Facebook page has now been taken down but it showed that he had recently lost his job: “I am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey.”
Green also wrote that “these past few years have been tough, and these past few months have been tougher.” His ardent support for Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam was also on his page and he allegedly had a history of making anti-Semitic and anti-white remarks as well as promoting conspiracy theories.
He described Farrakhan as his “spiritual father,” and stated that without his guidance he would have “been unable to continue.” Green also signed his post “Noah X.”
I only had seconds to look at Noah Green's Facebook page before it was deleted. He was living in Norfolk, Va.
From what I saw, many of his posts were of a religious (Islamic) nature. He appeared to be a deeply devout follower of the Nation of Islam & went by the name, "Noah X."

Green apparently was into end-times eschatology. He urged his readers to study the Book of Revelation: “[S]tudy who the beast is, study who the anti-Christ is, study who the false prophet is, and study the created images during these times.”
“The Minister is here to save me and the rest of humanity, even it means facing death,” Green had stated. “Be willing to deny yourself and follow him, pick up your cross.”
His Facebook page contained numerous links to Louis Farrakhan's work and praise for him.
Curiously, his account appears to have been inactive since September 2020 when he last changed his profile image. There may be more posts, but they're likely hidden to friends and family. pic.twitter.com/wfbEsxt1Gg
