Confused Biden asks ‘who am I turning this over to?’ Reporters immediately told it’s time to leave.

President Joe Biden raised eyebrows yet again this week when, at the end of a White House briefing, he turned to his chief of staff and basically asked who’s next to speak.

It was as if he didn’t realize that the briefing was over …

What was odd about his behavior was that neither former President Donald Trump, former president Barack Obama nor any other former president ever ended a briefing in such a fashion. When their briefings ended, they knew it clearly.

What also caught people’s attention was the “vacant look” on Biden’s face.

The interaction came at the tail end of a press conference during which the president announced that he was assigning Vice President Kamala Harris to handle the border crisis — which, as a reminder, the administration still claims isn’t a crisis.

After the announcement, Harris spoke briefly and then thanked the president for his “confidence” in her.

“Well, thank you for being willing to do it. Now, we’re going to get down to business here,” the president then said as if there was more planned for the briefing.

He then turned to White House chief of staff Ron Klain and asked, “Ron, who am I turning this over to?”

“Well, uh, thank you very much, Mr. President. I think it’s time for our friends in the press to leave, though,” Klain replied.

Biden then stared out at the press with a “vacant look” as they tried showering him with questions but to no avail.

His performance triggered concern among critics, though the critics were likely all conservatives who’d already been critical of him:

To be fair, Biden delivered a 5-minute-long speech during the start of the briefing, so it’s not like he was completely gone and detached from the world.

By the same token, there have been an abundance of “senior moments” with him where he’s forgotten where he’s at, forgotten names, forgotten what’s going on, etc.

While speaking at NRG Stadium in Texas amid the devastating winter storm that pummeled the Lone Star State last month, he referenced a non-existent Rep. Shirley Jackson Lee and then asked, “What am I doing here?”

“I want to thank you, Gov. and Ms. Abbott, for your hospitality and your friendship. And Rep. Senator Cornyn, I think he had to go back, I think he was getting on a plane and he came in to see me last event,” he said.

“And Reps. Shirley Jackson Lee, Al Green, Sylvia Garcia, Lizzie Panelli, excuse me, Pannill. What am I doing here? I’m going to lose track here. And Mayor Turner, Judge Hidalgo. Thank you all for welcoming us.”

Who the heck is Shirley Jackson Lee? He of course meant Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee.

It hasn’t helped that the president has thus far refused to hold a solo press conference and refused to deliver a State of the Union address. These decisions have only served to amplify concerns about his mental well-being.

That said, he was reportedly scheduled to finally hold his first solo briefing on Thursday, March 25th.

“President Joe Biden is set to hold his first solo press conference from the White House on Thursday, his 64th day since taking office. … All eyes will be on the president as he has the opportunity to strike a different tone with reporters than his predecessor, Donald Trump, who frequently sparred with the media and deemed them ‘the enemy of the people,'” USA Today reported.

The paper neglected to mention that the media had treated Trump like trash, whereas they have for the most part treated Biden with kid gloves.

For instance, when then-President Trump walked down a ramp rather slowly — but without stumbling or falling — last summer, the entire media pounced.

Yet when Biden fell and stumbled three times in a row while boarding Air Force One last week, the media shrugged in veritable indifference.

And so because of this disjointed coverage, the media is not expected to address Biden’s odd behavior during Wednesday’s briefing.

And if he screws up once, twice or thrice during Thursday’s scheduled solo presser, expect those fumbles to also be covered up.
