Not content to just smear legendary radio show host Rush Limbaugh now that he’s passed of lung cancer, left-wing media figures are aiming their sights at his longtime talented producer and friend, James Golden, aka Bo Snerdley.
They detested Limbaugh’s ostensibly unorthodox political views and his politically incorrect, but otherwise hilarious, sense of humor — so much so that his cancer diagnosis about a year ago inspired fits of celebration among them, as did his death Wednesday.
Over at The New York Times, the left-wing paper of Chinese propaganda and smears insinuated that Golden isn’t even a real person.
“Unlike Howard Stern, Don Imus and other big names in shock radio, Mr. Limbaugh had no on-the-air sidekicks, though he had conversations with the unheard voice of someone he called ‘Bo Snerdly,'” the paper wrote.

But one of the most heinous attacks against Golden came from radically far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid.
In a rant Wednesday evening, she attributed the public’s dislike for Obamacare to racial resentment that she claimed was a result of Limbaugh’s rhetoric — rhetoric that she argued was allowed because he’d used Golden “as a cover.”
“He called the Affordable Care Act ‘secret reparations’ and racialized something that had no racial undertones to it other than it definitely lifted people of color on average more because black and brown people had less healthcare. But he racialized it. He got white Americans to hate the Affordable Care Act,” she claimed.
Obamacare led to many middle-class Americans dropping their insurance because of the exorbitant premiums, as reported by Betsy McCaughey for the New York Post in 2017. And according to the Brookings Institution, as of 2019 a notable 12 percent of middle-class Americans were black, and 18 percent were Hispanic.
“He called President Obama ‘Barack the Magic Negro’ and used his black sidekick as a cover to be able to do like that kind of outright racist stuff. If any person other than Donald Trump would have been president, it would have been him, because he basically was president for the last four years,” Reid then added.

On March 19th, 2007, writer David Ehrenstein penned a column for the Los Angeles Times in which he used the archetype of the so-called magic negro to describe the then-Democrat presidential candidate.
While speaking about Ehrenstein’s column later that afternoon, Limbaugh sang the words “Barack the Magic Negro” to the beat of “Puff the Magic Dragon.” Shortly thereafter, a conservative satirist recorded an official “Barack the Magic Negro” song that Limbaugh then repeatedly played throughout the 2008 election.
This created controversy and accusations of racism, though longtime Limbaugh friends like Mark Steyn and Golden himself would say that it was just a part of his non-PC, Richard Pryor-like sense of humor.
“The comedy is what his many enemies and half his own side missed: Rush took politics seriously but not solemnly,” Steyn explained in a tribute to Limbaugh published Wednesday evening.
“In the early years of the war on terror, he introduced an Afghan version of himself ‘with talent on loan from Allah’ and sold Club Gitmo merchandise for those seeking a tropical retreat from jihad,” he continued.
“When Brokeback Mountain was in the news, the show ran trailers for Return to Saddle-Sore Canyon: ‘It’s John McCain and Lindsey Graham as you’ve always wanted to see them!'”
They were meant as jokes — nothing more, nothing less.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Rush Limbaugh, a giant of American broadcasting, a uniquely talented performer, and a hugely generous man to whom I owe almost everything…”

Reid is among the many far-leftists who nevertheless believe Limbaugh was an “evil” person just because he made unorthodox, smart-alecky jokes.
Meanwhile, in reality, the MSNBC host is the same woman who attacked then-House Majority Whip Steve Scalise after he was nearly murdered during the baseball shooting in 2017. Why did she attack him? For the crime of being a standard conservative.

Apparently, she gets her kicks from attacking, insulting and smearing conservatives who are either dead or have faced possible death. And for some inexplicable reason, she seems to think this makes her morally superior to others.
