White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany provoked petulant anger from the media Tuesday for the supposed crime of calling out their habitual refusal to give stories that are damaging to Democrats and their deserved attention and scrutiny.

The most unhinged, temperamental reaction came from the usual suspect, CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, who obliviously accused McEnany of spreading disinformation “every day” (which, in reality, is what CNN does).

During a White House press briefing Tuesday, McEnany sought to chide the media for their stubborn refusal to cover in-depth, the scandals surrounding Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Rep. Eric Swalwell.

“[I]n the last 24, 48 hours, there have been quite a few stories that have not gotten a ton of coverage in the mainstream media. As former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer said, bias is often found in stories the press does not want to cover,” she said.

Stories such as the Swalwell scandal.

“Last week we found out that Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell was infiltrated by an alleged Chinese spy. The spy cozied up to Swalwell, raised funds for his 2014 campaign, and even planted an intern in his office. And that relationship continued until the FBI briefed him in 2015,” she said.

Yet as of Wednesday, allegedly esteemed outlets like The New York Times had run zero stories about the Swalwell affair. They had, however, taken the time to pen two in-depth pieces about the “doctor” Jill Biden story.

Then there’s the Hunter scandal, which is a tad different. In this case, the media is covering the scandal now, but they’d refused to cover it before the election on the grounds that the then-emerging info on Biden’s son was “Russian disinformation.”

“[O]n October 15, you had a New York Times headline that said, ‘Trump Said to Be Warned that He Was Being Given Russian Disinformation Over Hunter Biden.’ Now, December 10, just a few months later, New York Times headline: ‘Investigation of Hunter Biden is Likely to Hang Over Biden as he Takes Office,'” McEnany explained.

Washington Post on October 16, the headline read, ‘The Truth Behind the Hunter Biden Non-Scandal.’ Now you have the Washington Post headline that says this: ‘Hunter Biden Tax Probe Examining Chinese Business Deals.’ Politico, October 19, ‘Hunter Biden Story is Russian Disinformation,’ that’s a favorite, ‘Dozens of Former Intel Officials Say.’ False yet again. December 2, now Politico reads, ‘Justice Department’s Interest in Hunter Biden Covered More Than Taxes.'”

The examples go on for days.

“Really interesting turn of events, and good for those who covered what was a story all along and not Russian disinformation,” she concluded before turning away from the podium and making her way out of the room.

This was when Acosta made his appearance.

Watch:

“Isn’t it hypocritical for you to accuse others of disinformation when you spread it every day?” the notoriously obnoxious CNN correspondent blurted out as McEnany walked away.

Over on Twitter, Acosta’s nasty, fact-free assertion — or propaganda, if you will — earned widespread praise from left-wing elites like Don Winslow, a white man who two months ago smeared Sen. Tim Scott — the first black senator to serve from a southern state since Reconstruction — as a “fake-ass sell out.”

Look:

Like the ol’ adage goes, “Show me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.”

Meanwhile, Democrat Coalition founder and conspiracy theorist Scott Dworkin described Acosta as a “real-life superhero”:

But outside of the elite circle, jerk-Acosta’s antics were NOT appreciated.

Look:

As a reminder, CNN is the same network that’s being sued right now for smearing a Trump administration official and whose “reporters” believe it’s irresponsible and dangerous for journalists to report on Biden critically and honestly.
