Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged the House of Representatives to return to Washington this week — earlier than scheduled — to force the understaffed, cash-strapped US Postal Service to handle the dubious mail-in voting process that Democrats are agitating for.
Democrats are breathlessly pushing for mass mail-in voting, citing COVID concerns, even after left-wing hero Dr. Anthony Fauci — a Hillary superfan — said voting in person is safe.

In a “Dear Colleague” letter she hastily wrote last night, Pelosi accused President Trump of trying to “sabotage the election by manipulating the Postal Service to disenfranchise voters.”
Pelosi also accused — without evidence — Postmaster General Louis DeJoy of being “a complicit crony” who’s trying to delay mail delivery. Pelosi wrote:
“We see the devastating effects of the President’s campaign to sabotage the election by manipulating the Postal Service to disenfranchise voters.
Postmaster General Louis DeJoy…has proven a complicit crony as he continues to push forward sweeping new operational changes that degrade postal service, delay the mail…and threaten to deny the ability of eligible Americans to cast their votes through the mail in the upcoming elections in a timely fashion.
That is why I am calling upon the House to return to session later this week to vote on Oversight and Reform Committee Chairwoman Maloney’s “Delivering for America Act,” which prohibits the Postal Service from implementing any changes to operations or level of service it had in place on January 1, 2020.”
DeJoy recently implemented operational changes at the USPS due to financial problems that were exacerbated by the one-size-fits-all shutdowns that Democrats breathlessly pushed for.
The Postal Service has been poorly managed and on the brink of bankruptcy for years — long before President Trump took office.
The Postal Service has lost $69 billion over the past 11 fiscal years, including $3.9 billion in fiscal year 2018.
Politicians shouldn’t give more taxpayer dollars to failing programs until they are reformed.
You are politically manipulating the Postal Service. https://t.co/YzFNVYvOav

In her “Dear Colleague” letter, Pelosi fanned apocalyptic concerns over mail delays of Social Security checks.
Fact check: The Obama administration ended Social Security checks by mail 10 years ago.
Wow.
In the first sentence of her letter announcing the House will come back to vote on Postal Service legislation (*not unemployment benefits) Pelosi warns of mail delays delivering social security checks.

Nancy Pelosi lied when she claimed that all mail delivery of Social Security checks will be delayed because of President Trump.
Almost all Social Security checks have been direct-deposited since 2010 (with rare exceptions).

As usual, Democrats are blaming Republicans for the disasters they caused.

Last week, the U.S. Postal Service warned election officials in 46 states that it can’t guarantee that all ballots cast by mail for the November election will arrive in time to be counted.
Republicans are worried that Democrats are trying to steal the election through voter fraud. Democrats were caught trying to abuse the mail-in voting process as recently as the 2018 midterm elections.
In 2018, a federal judge ruled that Brenda Snipes — then a Democrat election supervisor in Florida — illegally destroyed ballots for a congressional race between her Democrat ally and her Independent challenger.
Two weeks ago, a news station’s experiment simulating mail-voting ended in disaster when some ballots never arrived.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said the Democrats hyperventilating over COVID to push mail-in voting is phony performance art.
“The idea of using the pandemic as an excuse for this [is ridiculous],” said Christie, a former prosecutor with the Department of Justice. “In my home state of New Jersey, we have people waiting in lines six, seven, eight hours at Motor Vehicles to get a license plate. Our [Democrat] governor is permitting that. But somehow to stand in line to vote is ‘much too dangerous.’ Yet standing in line at the motor vehicle is okay?”
Millions of Americans agree, saying if you can shop at a crowded Walmart store or march in a congested Black Lives Matter rally, you can vote in person.
Ask yourself this: If you had a $1 billion lotto ticket, would you mail in your winning lottery ticket? Or would go in person to claim your prize?
If you can gather to attack federal agents and a federal courthouse, you can surely go out and vote in person

Just incredible. Tens of thousands of people yesterday in West Hollywood for the All Black Lives Matter march. This isn’t just a moment—it’s a movement.
