Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) will begin taking hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus after he tested positive for COVID-19 this week.

Gohmert was diagnosed with the coronavirus yesterday during a routine White House exam before he was scheduled to join President Trump on Air Force One.

He is now in quarantine at his home. The congressman says he’s a little tired, but is otherwise fine.

Gohmert will soon begin a regimen of zinc, erythromycin, and hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus.

“My doctor and I are all in,” Gohmert told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “I got a text just before I came on from a dear friend, [a] doctor, who just found out he had it. He said he started a HCQ [hydroxychloroquine] regimen, too. So zinc, erythromycin, and hydroxychloroquine. That will start in the next day or two.”

Gohmert noted that Democrats and their media minions have been gloating about his diagnosis.

Wait until two weeks from now, when Louie Gohmert can gloat that he recovered — thanks to hydroxychloroquine.

The Congressman said that’s when he got a tiny taste of the nonstop leftist trolling and harassment that President Trump gets on a daily basis.

“I got a tiny little taste what you and the President get every day. The Left went nuts,” Gohmert recounted. “They were saying I contaminated my gym. I haven’t been to the gym in months. They said I berated a staffer for wearing a mask. That is a lie! So I got a little taste of what the President gets all the time.”

Hannity noted that a widely-cited sham study claiming hydroxychloroquine was ineffective and deadly if used to treat the coronavirus was recently retracted.

That bogus study was breathlessly touted to attack President Trump, who noted that numerous physicians have successfully treated COVID patients with the FDA-approved anti-malaria drug.

This week, Twitter, Google, and its subsidiary YouTube deleted thousands of social media posts showing an army of doctors who have successfully treated countless coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine.

Among the deleted posts was a stirring video of Dr. Stella Immanuel of Rehoboth Medical Center in Texas. Dr. Immanuel has personally treated 350 patients with hydroxychloroquine. All are alive and well today.

“Any study that says hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work is fake science!” Immanuel said. “I want them to show me how it doesn’t work. How is it going to work for my 350 patients? They are all alive! Guys, all them studies are fake science.”

The left-wing media have since gone into overdrive to discredit and defame Dr. Immanuel.

“Reminder: 62 studies confirm the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine.”

“Tens of 1,000s with COVID-19 are dying. It can be reversed easily and quickly.”

In 2005, Hillary superfan Anthony Fauci said hydroxychloroquine was effective at preventing and treating coronaviruses. Now he claims it’s dangerous and ineffective.

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons say HCQ has a 90% chance of helping COVID patients.

The Department of Defense and the Veterans Administration have been using hydroxychloroquine for 65 years.  “On any given day, the VA uses 42,000 doses of this drug.”

Dr. James Todaro says there’s an orchestrated attack against hydroxychloroquine in the media because there is a massive financial incentive for Big Pharma to discredit the drug.

Big Pharma spends big money aggressively lobbying politicians and the media.

Doctors around the country say they are being bullied to slam hydroxychloroquine (which is inexpensive) in favor of Remdesivir — an overpriced, untested vaccine being produced by Big Pharma.

If hydroxychloroquine is so dangerous and ineffective, why have hospitals been stockpiling it to treat coronavirus patients?

Front-line doctors and nurses have also been taking it prophylactically (i.e., to prevent COVID) since the outbreak started.

UPDATE: Louie Gohmert recovers from COVID with hydroxychloroquine
