Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii says she won’t participate in the December 19 Democratic primary debate even if she qualifies. Instead, she plans to spend the time meeting with voters.

Gabbard made the surprise announcement Monday on Twitter:  “For a number of reasons, I have decided not to attend the December 19th ‘debate’ — regardless of whether or not there are qualifying polls. I instead choose to spend that precious time directly meeting with and hearing from the people of New Hampshire and South Carolina.”

Gabbard has not yet qualified for the Dec. 19 debate — the sixth and final one of the year. There will be six more debates between January and June 2020.

Gabbard’s withdrawal from the Dec. 19 debate comes months after she threatened to boycott the October debate amid accusations that the Democratic National Committee and their left-wing media minions are “rigging” the race.

At the time, Gabbard torched two-timed failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who had accused her of being a Russian asset. Gabbard warned that if Hillary and her media henchmen can cavalierly defame a congresswoman like her, imagine the damage they could inflict on private citizens.

Gabbard explained: “If they can falsely portray me as a traitor, then they can do it to anyone. Hillary and her gang of rich, powerful ‘elite’ are going after me to send a message to YOU: ‘Shut up, toe the line, or be destroyed.’”

Gabbard’s withdrawal has put the race-baiting Democratic Party — the self-proclaimed “Party of Diversity” — in the awkward position of hosting an all-white debate. Oops.

Despite the lip service Democrats have paid to being “diverse,” and its frequent bashing of white men, its frontrunners — Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren — are three white men and one fake Native-American woman.

So far, here’s who qualified for the next debate:

  • Joe Biden
  • Bernie Sanders
  • Pete Buttigieg
  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Amy Klobuchar
  • Tom Steyer.

**UPDATE: Andrew Yang qualified at the last minute for the debate.

In contrast, the 2016 Republican primary race included Cuban-Americans Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio as frontrunners behind Donald Trump. So which is the real “Party of Diversity?”

Meanwhile, the Democrats’ impeachment stunt is imploding, as their desperate attacks on President Trump have helped him climb in the polls.

In fact, a new poll by Firehouse Strategies/Optimus Consulting shows Trump beating all the Democratic contenders in three key battleground states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

“As the race currently stands, President Trump is in the lead in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in hypothetical match-ups against former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Across the three states, Trump’s closest contest is against Joe Biden, although the president leads by an average of 6 percentage points against each Democrat.”

Moreover, the latest poll shows that the majority of voters in battleground states oppose impeachment:  “In each of these battleground states, we find that a majority of likely 2020 voters do not support the impeachment and removal of President Trump from office. Impeachment and removal is opposed by 50.8% of voters in Michigan, 52.2% of voters in Pennsylvania, and 57.9% of voters in Wisconsin.”
