Fox Business host Lou Dobbs urged President Donald Trump to “connect back with the people” who voted for him instead of taking misguided advice from globalist CEOs who don’t support the populist agenda that got him elected.
Dobbs told former Trump campaign Corey Lewandowski that Trump should not waste his time “listening to these globalists” who reject his America-First policies.
Lewandowski agreed, saying Trump needs to take care of the problems roiling the United States first before we offer billions of dollars in financial and military aid to foreign countries.
“We have our own problems right here,” Lewandowski said. Every single day, people coming across our southern border. The crimes they are committing can be prevented. Let’s take care of something called ‘America First.’ I know that sounds terrible to the globalists out there, but I don’t care.”

Dobbs quipped: “You’re preaching to the choir! He is the president. He has the power to shut down the nonsense. His own White House and his own advisers [keep advising him to keep the US involved in bloody, expensive foreign wars]. It’s time for this president to connect back with the people who put him in this White House. Not Wall Street and not the swamp — not corporate America and not Tim Cook.”
Dobbs added: “Mr. and Mrs. America who live on streets all over this country in middle-class neighborhood and neighborhoods that aspire to be middle class — that’s who his people are. [Instead] I see more corporate CEOs parading out of that White House than I ever thought possible under this president.”
Earlier in his show, Lou Dobbs slammed feckless Republicans and war-mongering Democrats who oppose President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria.
“They are fighting with our president over 1,000 of our troops being stuck in northern Syria in grave danger and in harm’s way,” Dobbs said.
Dobbs has repeatedly called out Republicans who don’t back President Trump in the face of the left’s relentless sham attacks.
In February 2019, Dobbs blasted spineless Republicans as “gutless wonders” who refuse to do anything to protect the leader of their party — and more importantly — a duly-elected sitting United States president.
“Why is the establishment in Washington D.C. not screaming for the arrest of Andrew McCabe and all of his co-horts in the DOJ and FBI?” Dobbs asked.
“Why the hell wasn’t the Republican Party standing up and demanding his arrest? They either follow President Trump or they are going to be on the scrapheap of history.”

Mounting evidence suggests that Obama holdovers at the highest levels of the FBI and the Department of Justice conspired to undermine and overthrow President Trump after failing to derail his 2016 presidential election.
Dobbs torched the anti-American Left and the “corrupt” Obama holdovers in the top ranks of the FBI, saying “They choose to hate America.”
Earth to Republicans: Do something!
The cycle continues:
1. Democrats accuse @realDonaldTrump of XYZ
2. Evidence finds that not only is Trump innocent of XYZ but that Democrats are the ones ACTUALLY guilty of XYZ 🤡
3. Elected Republicans do absolutely nothing
4. Democrats move on to next hoax.#DoSomething
