MSNBC guest: Tucker Carlson spreads ‘white nationalist rhetoric’ and ‘basically supports terrorism’

MSNBC continues to foment racial division and manufactured outrage by defaming Fox News host Tucker Carlson as a white nationalist whose rhetoric “supports terrorism.”

MSNBC political analyst Jason Johnson trashed Carlson during a shocking segment with MSNBC opinion host Chris Hayes.

Johnson is a political science professor at Morgan State University, a predominantly-black college, and a politics editor at The Root, a race-baiting black-centric blog.

Johnson said: “I see Tucker Carlson as a guy who has repeatedly failed in television. Who has been basically given media welfare, a prime-time spot. And he is still being promoted — not because he is good at his job — but because he promotes a certain kind of bigotry that other people can’t say as eloquently. What do we do with that as a society? Do we constantly call him out for it or pretend he is actually just an entertainer?”

Oh really, Carlson “failed in television?” That’s funny, since he has the No. 1 cable news show.

Like most of the radical Left, Jason Johnson continues to push the false narrative that Carlson said white supremacy is a “hoax.”

What Tucker actually said was that the myth that white supremacy is a bigger crisis than the opioid epidemic, rising poverty, ballooning national debt, or the shrinking middle class is a hoax.

For the record, this is what Carlson said:

“If you were to assemble a list, a hierarchy of concerns of problems this country faces, where would white supremacy be on that list? Right up there with Russia, probably.

It’s actually not a real problem in America. The combined membership of every white supremacist organization in this country would be able to fit inside a college football stadium.

This is a country where the average person is getting poorer, where the suicide rate is spiking. ‘White supremacy, that’s the problem.’ This is a hoax. Just like the Russia hoax. It’s a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power. That’s exactly what’s going on.

Carlson never denied that white supremacy exists. He said that on the hierarchy of pressing issues destroying the United States, white supremacy doesn’t even register. It’s the media that’s elevating the fringe movement.

If you’re not sure, just ask yourself: How many actual “white supremacists” do you know?

But MSNBC and its hysteria-fomenting guests like Jason Johnson continue to whip up public frenzy in a bid to destroy Tucker Carlson, a father of five.

“There are still people who want to watch that kind of nonsense,” Johnson said. “For the rest of news the media system, we have to now frame this is as, ‘This is someone who basically supports terrorism. This is someone who is disingenuous.’ If you’re talking about this white nationalist rhetoric, you can’t support white nationalist rhetoric without supporting terrorism. I think he should be framed in that way.”

Johnson’s hateful rhetoric was so over-the-top that even MSNBC’s left-wing opinion host Chris Hayes hesitated.

Hayes replied: “I don’t know if that’s true. I don’t know if I agree with that. I really don’t. I think supporting terrorism is distinct from sort of supporting the predicate for what has happened, right? There are people who have violent ideologies who don’t support violence, or maybe that’s not possible.”

The militant Johnson then doubled down on his outrageous assertions.

“You can’t support white nationalists without supporting terrorism, because you can’t support white nationalism without state-sponsored or individual violence. You can’t. It requires moving people from a country they have always been at. That’s terrorism.”

Earlier this week, an MSNBC contributor suggested that President Trump’s decision to fly American flags at half-mast until August 8 — to honor the victims of the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings — was a white-supremacist dog whistle secretly invoking Adolf Hitler.

Johnson’s unhinged personal attacks on Carlson endangers him and his family, since we already know that left-wing activists frequently assault Trump supporters in broad daylight.

Carlson has been targeted by leftist activists before for challenging their attacks on free speech. However, things veered out out-of-control in November 2018, when an angry mob of Antifa protesters stormed Carlson’s home and vandalized it.

The attack terrified Carlson’s wife, who was home alone at the time.  The mob repeatedly rang the doorbell and shouted:

“Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night! Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either.”

Reminder: These angry leftists are the same ones who want to take your guns away.
