Dan Bongino rips CNN’s Stelter & Cuomo for ‘outrageously irresponsible’ bomb-scare coverage

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino blasted CNN’s Brian Stelter (a.k.a.- “Humpty Dumpty”) for his reckless coverage of the bomb scare at CNN’s New York office, which was evacuated after a non-functioning homemade “bomb” was mailed to former Obama CIA director John Brennan.

For the record, Brennan shills for MSNBC — not CNN.

“More outrageously irresponsible coverage from media figures who continue to, without evidence, engage in grossly irresponsible conjecture and theorizing,” Bongino tweeted with a video clip of CNN’s Brian Stelter and Chris Cuomo suggesting President Trump was to blame.

Dan Bongino said instead of dialing back the hyperbolic partisan rhetoric, Brian Stelter and other leftist CNN hacks ratcheted it up by blaming President Trump and “right-wing” outlets for the incident — without a shred of concrete evidence.

Bongino — a former New York City cop and U.S. Secret Service agent — told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs that the left-wing media coverage of the bomb threats was “grotesquely irresponsible.”

“The coverage has just been abhorrent,” said Bongino, author of the bestselling book “Spygate: The Attempted Sabotage of Donald J. Trump.”

“A lot of these media outlets putting out statements that are just grotesquely irresponsible. We have no idea who did this, no idea what the motive was. These devices, from my experience in the security space, were very amateurish.”

The “bombs” were not functional, fueling speculation that the threats could be false flags designed to change the narrative that Democrats are violent mobs.

The “liberal mob” narrative gained traction after top Democrat Party leaders (including Hillary Clinton, Maxine Waters, Eric Holder, and Cory Booker) urged liberals to bully and harass Republicans wherever they go.

Other observers say the threats are diversionary tactics meant to distract the public’s attention away from the massive caravan of illegal immigrants marching toward the United States to demand entry.

As BizPac Review noted, independent reporting from Spanish-language channel Univision and from investigative journalist Sara Carter confirmed that MS 13 gang members, criminals, and unvetted Middle Easterners have infiltrated the caravan.

“Yesterday, when we were traveling through Guatemala, we noticed people from El Salvador and even people from Bangladesh,” said Univision reporter Francisco Santa Anna, who has spent weeks embedded with the 7,000-strong caravan. “They infiltrated themselves in this caravan.”

Sara Carter, a Fox News analyst who was reporting from the U.S.-Mexico border, tweeted: “I bumped into a number of young MS 13 gang members.”

Liberal Fox News pundit Juan Williams suggested that those reporters were lying, prompting Fox News host Jesse Watters to unload on Williams.

“Sara Carter — one of your colleagues here at Fox News — went down there [to the Mexico border],” Watters said. “She spoke to Guatemalan Intelligence and interviewed people in the caravan and has confirmed that there are MS-13-affiliated gang members among the caravan.”

Watters continued: “If you are going to sit there and call your colleague a liar while you are sitting on your tush in a nice air-conditioned studio in Manhattan, I really think that’s unbecoming.”
