Colin Kaepernick gloats as NFL players kneel for anthem to open football season

Miami Dolphins wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson became the first NFL players this season to kneel during the national anthem, continuing the unpatriotic protests first launched in 2016 by unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The kneeling won praise from Kaepernick, who tweeted: “They have not backed down, even when attacked and intimidated. Their courage will move the world forward! Love is at the root of our resistance!”

The NFL protests have been amplified by Nike, which made Kaepernick the face of its new “Just Do It” ad campaign, whose slogan is: “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.”

As BizPac Review previously reported, Nike has been slammed by millions of Americans, especially military veterans, who are disgusted that the sports brand comically elevated Kaepernick as an icon of “sacrifice.”

Football fans responded by boycotting Nike and turning off their TV sets, causing ratings for the NFL’s season opener on September 6 to plunge to their lowest level in 10 years.

Kaepernick — a supporter of the militant anti-white, anti-police Black Lives Matter movement — claimed he stopped standing for the national anthem to protest police brutality against black men.

But he did nothing when blacks were killed by cops (both black and white) during Barack Obama‘s eight-year presidency.

Kaepernick, who does not even bother to vote, also says nothing about the countless black-on-black murders that occur every day across the United States.

Fox Sports analyst Jason Whitlock slammed Nike’s exultation of Kaepernick’s unpatriotic protests as a PR gimmick that will hurt the NFL and Nike in the long run.

“It’s a PR stunt that is going to blow up and backfire in their faces,” Whitlock told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “This reminds me of ESPN naming Caitlyn Jenner the ‘most courageous person in America’ because she had a sex-change operation. This is cut from that same cloth. Doing that labeled ESPN as ‘PC’ and out-of-touch with Middle America. This play with Colin Kaepernick is going to backfire on Nike.”

Here’s an inconvenient truth about the Left’s new hero: Kaepernick recently donated $25,000 to a group that honors convicted cop killer and domestic terrorist Assata Shakur.

Shakur was on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorist list at the time she fled the country for communist Cuba.

Kaepernick has struggled to get signed to another lucrative NFL contract after opting out of his 6-year, $114 million contract with the 49ers in March 2017.

Kaepernick was a dismal performer with the 49ers who no doubt would have been released based on poor performance had he not opted out. His protests made him the media hero that his performance could not.

Meanwhile, where is Colin Kaepernick’s outrage over this continuing abuse of blacks around the world?
