The West Hollywood City Council unanimously voted to remove President Donald Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in a reversal of its longstanding policy against such removals.
West Hollywood’s Trump-hating mayor, John Duran, gleefully tweeted the decision: “West Hollywood City council unanimously passes resolution asking the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the Donald Trump star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

Before voting on the motion on August 6, the West Hollywood City Council had urged the Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Trump’s star, citing “his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country.”
The final decision to remove Trump’s star is up to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Meanwhile, liberals have no problem with accused serial rapist Bill Cosby, convicted child rapist Roman Polanski, and alleged pedophile Kevin Spacey remaining on the Walk of Fame.
Cosby has been accused of drugging and raping 60 women during his storied Hollywood career, while Spacey has been accused of sexually harassing, assaulting, or attempting to rape 15 men, including 5 teenagers.
President Trump received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007 for his work as a producer on the Miss Universe pageant, which he owned from 1996 to 2015.

Activists recently called for the removal of Bill Cosby’s star citing his numerous alleged rapes. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce refused, and issued this statement in November 2017:
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the stars of Walk of Famers because of alleged misconduct. The answer is no.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
As BizPac Review previously reported, unhinged liberals have repeatedly vandalized President Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame. The most recent incident occurred in July 2018, when a vandal smashed the star with a pickax.
In October 2016, a homeless black woman was attacked as she quietly sat near Trump’s star holding a sign that read: “20 Million Illegals and Americans sleep on the streets in tents. Vote Trump.”
Within minutes, the woman was verbally attacked, bullied, and called racial slurs by an angry pro-Hillary Clinton mob. One man shoved the woman to the ground as the liberal crowd laughed at her.
The woman was staging her demonstration just one day after a leftist activist had destroyed Trump’s star with an ax.

Instead of engaging in empty virtue-signaling gestures like removing Trump’s star from the Walk of Fame, Hollywood should put its money where its mouth is by allowing illegal aliens and unvetted refugees to attend their posh awards shows without armed security.
That’s exactly what actor Robert Davi urged fellow actors to do in February 2017 ahead of the Academy Awards, as BizPac Review previously reported.

In an open letter to Hollywood, Davi wrote: “I ask all migrants, all illegal immigrant criminals and all unvetted refugees to converge on Hollywood to come to the Oscars and all the after-parties, even those held at the mansions or the Chateau Marmont or anywhere else.”
Naturally, Hollywood hypocrites refused to allow illegals and refugees to crash their party.
