‘Why we don’t trust the press’: CNN in hot seat for omitting key factor in New Mexico child compound case

CNN deliberately omitted the words “Muslim extremists” in its coverage of the Muslim extremists who were arrested at a squalid New Mexico compound where police discovered 11 missing children who were starved and abused.

Prosecutors said Siraj Wahhaj and Lucas Morten (who were in charge of the compound) were secretly training the children to commit mass school shootings.

 

Pro-Islam CNN Covers for ‘Muslim Extremists’

While that news is shocking enough, what’s just as stunning are revelations that CNN deleted a reference to the local sheriff’s statement describing the perpetrators as Muslim extremists.

Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe stated in a news release: “We had learned the occupants were most likely heavily-armed and considered extremists of the Muslim belief.”

Sheriff Hogrefe reaffirmed that FBI analysts had told him the suspects are apparently “extremists of the Muslim belief.”

The Federalist’s Gabriel Malor, an attorney, said of CNN: “The article originally included the sheriff’s statement that the individuals were “extremists of the Muslim belief…not there anymore.”

Moreover, CNN didn’t even admit in an editor’s note to the story that it had stealth-deleted the “Muslim” reference.

Malor noted, “I have a suspicion why CNN is avoiding the whole “Muslim school shooter training camp” angle.”

CNN Is Gaslighting the Public to Push Leftist Agenda

Frustrated Americans are used to CNN’s gaslighting by now, which is why CNN’s TV ratings lag way behind its rivals.

One person remarked, “Liberals don’t want to end school shootings, they want to use them to further their political agenda.”

Rob Eno, a writer for the Conservative Review, retorted: “This is what we mean by #FakeNews, Brian Stelter. Willful manipulation of facts.”

Another person remarked, “THIS is why we don’t trust the press…White-washing a terrorist training camp designed to train children to kill our children, run by Muslims.”

Scott Ruesterholz wrote: “Imagine Don Lemon if instead it were white nationalists! Stop with these double standards.”

Does CNN realize that deleting out “Muslim extremists” actually does a disservice to the vast majority of law-abiding non-extremist Muslims?

**Note: Hours after being shamed for its dishonesty, CNN put the reference to “Muslim extremists” back into its story.

The mainstream media are also trying to downplay the fact that one of the Muslim extremists who was arrested is the son of Siraj Wahhaj, a Brooklyn imam who’s the mentor of pro-Sharia terrorist apologist Linda Sarsour.

This is not the first time that CNN has been caught censoring or manufacturing news to promote its liberal agenda.

As BizPac Review previously reported, CNN refused to cover a story about a burly 30-year-old Hispanic man assaulting a skinny white teenager simply because he was wearing a MAGA hat.

In June 2017, CNN was caught staging an anti-ISIS protest by Muslims one day after the London Bridge terrorist attacks.

In the behind-the-scenes video, a CNN reporter and her crew are seen coaching hijab-wearing Muslim women where to stand and how to hold their anti-ISIS protest signs.

If you didn’t know this was supposed to be “news,” you’d think you were watching a commercial or a movie being filmed.

CNN presumably shot the propaganda video to push its narrative that most Muslims oppose ISIS. The only problem is, CNN and other mainstream media then tried to pass off the staged protest as a legitimate demonstration.
