Roseanne bids fans heartfelt farewell, responds to ex-casts mates before declaring Twitter hiatus

For the first time since her show’s cancellation following controversial tweets, Roseanne Barr was spotted walking around in Utah.

Roseanne talks to the Daily Mail.

“I believe in one law for all people, I love all people, have a nice day,” Barr told the Daily Mail reporter who followed her as she walked in her native Utah on Thursday.

The 65-year-old actress also came out full force on Twitter, pouring her heart out over the events of the week that cost her – and hundreds of others – their jobs.

In now-deleted tweets, Barr announced she was not planning on leaving Twitter but was staying to “help build a movement.”

She also shared that she begged Ben Sherwood, president of the Disney-ABC Television Group, for the show to be spared following her tweet about former President Barack Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, which many condemned as racist.

Barr also tweeted her heartbreak over Jayden Rey, the young actress who played her African-American grandchild on the show.

Barr had sent out a tweet also forgiving former castmates Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman, who played her children on the show.

“To michael fishman and sara gilbert: I forgive u both, love u both, just wish u could have called me personally 2 talk rather than do it in a public arena. I understand, tho. It’s ok,” she wrote.

Fishman and Gilbert had denounced Barr’s tweets in social media comments in the wake of the controversy that erupted on Tuesday. Barr’s forgiveness message came after her initial reactions which called the castmembers out for throwing her “under the bus.”

The actress, whom the Daily Mail spotted at one point sitting “on the pavement while smoking and taking a phone call,” requested her fans pray for her in a another tweet.

“they wont stop til i die, i fear-pray for me!” she wrote.

Barr offered up another apology at the end, announcing she would be off of Twitter “for a while.”
