Supermodel Kate Upton calls out director with #MeToo hashtag – and she’s naming names

Supermodel Kate Upton accused a Guess fashion designer of sexual harassment in a tweet using the #MeToo hashtag.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model called out Guess co-founder Paul Marciano in a tweet stating it was “disappointing” that the women’s clothing brand was “still empowering” him, though she did not reveal any details.

The 25-year-old model posted a screenshot of her tweet to her Instagram account, adding the caption: “He shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women #metoo.”

Upton, who is married to Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander, modeled for Guess in 2010 and 2011. She did not reveal if she was a victim of the alleged sexual harassment but using the #MeToo hashtag signaled there was more to her social media posts than just commentary. The model confirmed that she has more to say after a TMZ reporter caught up with her at LAX airport Wednesday.

“I’m excited to tell my whole story but a walk to the car is not going to cover it,” she responded when asked about her social media posts. She added that “a lot of people around them know about it,” referring to people who are aware of abuses by those in the industry but remain quiet.

The White House has given a time when FISA memo will be released – Democrats are already scrambling

Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Anna Nicole Smith have been Guess girls in the past and the brand announced that Jennifer Lopez will be the face of the company for its 2018 Spring collection.
